Great chapter. Hashirama outsmarted Madara-- say it's cheap if you want but everything those two use seems to be-- but no, it's a smart move. Frankly, if Madara, the only one with the capacity to recognize the fake, was tricked like that, I can't see anyone being able to avoid being duped by the wood clone. The real Hashirama is almost impossible to hit (and lol even then he can heal himself automatically). I don't think Hashi loses against any single character except for edo Madara-- Oro and Kabuto having to use edos still counts as 2 on 1. Anyway, interested to see what's going to happen with the Hokages now that we're done with the storytelling (which was admittedly the most interesting flashback in the manga so far). No-- more interested to see how Kishimoto manages to raise Naruto and Sasuke to the level of ten bijuu bomb--ps sword combos at once, and to the something that survived that.

Its not that he was being conceited, its just that he recognized Madara as an enemy, therefore not part of the Village. :/

Yes, I agree. It goes hand in hand with the fact that he is willing to sacrifice for the village. If Madara betrayed the village and threatened it, then of course he's not going to be part of the village. He's going to be something that must be given up for the safety and posterity of the village. Of course, the previous poster was obviously just an extreme Uchiha fan, as the Senju and especially Hashirama are clearly depicted as in the right (if not Tobirama per se) throughout the manga.

I don't know the ending myself, but it seems the whole purpose of Naruto is to change history as Jiraiya dreamt of. So he should find a way to make Sasuke come back to his senses, if not to Konoha.
And we still miss Sasuke's question to Minato, I feell he will tell the true story about the kyubbi attack.
And then we have 2 possible decisions by Sasuke:
1- to turn stil worst against Konoha because in his mind, the Senju are ready to do anything for the sake of the Leaf, even if it takes to kill a lot of its own citizens. This will include fighting Naruto to death.
2 - to turn mad against Obito because he has lied to him by telling him that he is Madara and that the kyubbi attack was a natural catastrophe. --> remember Sasuke hates to feel he does not make his own decisions, as soon as he realizes he's beeing used he may turn against the other 2 remaining Uchihas, Obito and Madara.
He will probably still fight against Naruto, but for the sake of prooving who is the strongest, and not as enemies.

I'm still in doubt, because I remember what Itachi once told to Naruto: that Sasuke can still be easily coloured. He will not fall in love with the Hokages, of course, but his mind may move to a grey area instead of a wholy black one, understanding that no one is purely evil nor purely good, let alone when your position obliges you to make harsh decisions.
The thing that really surprised me in this arc is that Sasuke "woke up" the Hokages to speak to them, and not to use them as fighting tools, so he's trying to search for the truth to reach a conclusion. This in itself if a slight change in the way he has been acting since he left Konoha.
Madara did not die, as we know from obito's story of how he became tobi. From this knowledge there is possibility that madara had learned the same justu that orochimaro uses(every time he's killed, he's alive). Or maybe Madara pretended to be die by placing a illusion on hashi, because if you see right before madara dies, hashi looks into his eyes, and then the next panel shows the moon as if it was an illusion, this shows that madara might have just placed him in a illusion. Madara is more of a smart shinobi, even hashi says that, for him to die from such a tactic is unimaginable. Madara had already known about the red eye moon's plan, so that would mean he knows what he needs to do inorder for him to excute that plan, also madara did not want to destroy the village, he attacked the village because he knew hashi would show up to protect it, because there would be no way that hashi would want to even think about fighting against madara.
Did anyone notice this, but when madara was revived by kabuto he was not in that "old state" as obito had seen him, does that justu not revive the people in the state of how they had died, everyone has been revived the same age as they had died, ex: 3rd hokage .etc... But madara was revived in a younger state. This is puzzleing, because this can be used to show evidence that maybe madara had switched bodies..

I Think Madara figured out the the village plan would not bring peace. it would just end the same way it always has been but this time on a larger scale. It's no longer small clans and families fighting other families. it has become large nations fighting each other. Instead of losing a handful of friends entire families are wiped out in an instant.
Itachi always questioned what was the point of a clan, A Surname? Concepts like a Village,country and clan are ways of separating ourselves from the simple fact we are all humans. Instead of killing to protect your brother a whole nation is now killing to protect that single life. 1 on 1 has now turned into 1000 on 1 and that ends up as 1000 vs 1000. And it continues to grow as more sides are taken.
Killing in the name of the clan instead of protecting because they are human.
