About.
Bloody.
Time.
And no I'm not talking about the flashbacks ending. I had sort of come to terms with Hashirama telling Sasuke the Plot Warper a story during a war that threatens to destroy the entire world, no, I'm talking about someone standing up to the Uchiha and living up to what they've been forced to believe since they could walk - 'killing' their emotions, protecting their clans and KILLING!
Seriously, Hashirama even did it without the world's longest flashback, without a final speech about their friendship...he just PIERCED HIM IN THE HEART! FINALLY! I feel like we should open a bottle or champagne or something because this is like the first time a ninja acts like a ninja!
Sadly one awesome scene doesn't make up for the rest of this mess - Madara still acted like that spoiled emotional girl from high school and Hashirama later seemingly regretted his decision which took away some of its impact. Also, I'm still not even sure why the entire manga didn't just end with a final arc after Pain died and Naruto became the hero, so I can't shake the constant feeling of 'tacked on' anyway.
What baffles me is Madara's survival: did someone seriously resurrect him? Because I doubt a bunch of Orochimarus were walking around at this time, and that old guy Obito met was hardly an Edo, either.
Still this series insists on continuing with throwing a lot of balls up in the air at once. I'd rather have all the answers to the questions floating around right now so that we can focus more on the main story. Let us know what Sasuke and the Hokage are going to do and let us know why Kakashi killed Rin so we can see Obito redeem himself and finish the story. There's not much more excitment left other than waiting for all the little things to be answered. I never cared about Madara and I CERTAINLY never cared about the fate of the Tailed Beasts, so I say: let's fast forward things, because right now things are a bloody mess.
