My little brother just turned 13 years old, and he wants to start working out. I want to know is it safe for him to hit the weights? I was thinking about putting him on a strictly Body-Weight exercise only routine until he gained a few more pounds, and some muscle (he's currently like 98lbs, lol anorexic ass) then after he gained some I'd put him on a lifting weights routine.
Is it safe to give him supplements? (most likely won't do that, just making sure it's okay) he's trying to get bigger for football next year (he'll be in 8th grade).
