In the chart his eye is red, but it isnt at the bottom of the thread though. It is suppose to be red there as well?
Cause at the bottom, that eye looks like Rinnegan (the one with the tomoe), but it isnt one? Cause the elder son doesnt have the sage's body.

Sorry I just couldn't find a good image of the pseudo-elder son eye-sharingan mutation but the image that I intended to convey was the image of the Elder's Son's eye mutating into the present day Sharingan, I'll try to find a more decent pic

Well, the recent chapters have stated based on Tobirama's statement that the Uchiha's unique psyche and ocular powers have a unique bioneurological factor. So it could not have been just simple jealousy that drove the elder son to did what he did.

great theory but you forgot about byakugan. just like uzumaki have the same ancestor as senju - of the younger son, so do hyuuga may have the same ancestor as uchiha - the elder son.
so i guess that the altered rinnengan the elder son had, split in 2 and became sharingan - uchiha and byakugan - hyuuga. uchiha took the hathed (red tomoes) and hyuuga took the "little piece"(base) of rinnengan.
