Just to throw this out there: is it not possible that the elder son's eyes don't look like a sharingan because it's MS? I mean, we've only seen one picture of the dude.

Um.... I don't think the spiraling pattern on his eyes are indicative that it is a Sharingan tbh

Well, yeah, the thought had never crossed my mind before reading your thread, but the more I think about it, the more sense it makes. If you had only one picture of Sasuke with MS (or anyone with MS, for that matter), would you think that was a Sharingan? MS really looks nothing like Sharingan. And, they're all unique, so why not a spiral MS? If the Rinnegan regresses to the MS and then to Sharingan, it seems plausible that the sage's son would have the next lower level of dojutsu. Granted, it could be something entirely new, but I see Kishi being all like "Ha! Troll'd ya! That was just his MS you suckers!!" Anyway, thanks for the rep.

very much possible....nice presentation...great thread again..
So basically as so6p(who wanted peace and cherished love) was the jinchuriki of juubi..the hatred of juubi was there but it was latent...But when the elder brother resented the idea of his brother being the successor he felt a immense hatred towards him...becoz of which the hatred that was passed onto him from sage and ultimately from juubi took over and resulted a change in his eye pattern...
and generation after generation this phenomenon went on...which we r now calling as 2T-3T-MS-EMS...in uchihas

I really like it, the theory is very plausible..
So to put this basically:
The sage had rinnegan
He passed a weaker version to his son
The son awakened an early Sharingan
Uchiha's hate developed it further
Son's original eye < Sharingan < Rinnegan. This way it's right, right?

That before being consumed by hatred looked liked this:

So In conclusion, it is very plausible that the Juubi's malevolent influence and presence within the Uchiha Ancestor, through his Hatred precipitated the mutation of his eyes from the original spiraling pattern to the Sharingan pattern that we see in the present day.

Actually it did turn or was red if you look at the chart, the tomoes are the manifestations of the juubi's corruptive influence
He inherited his father's eyed but his eyes weren't necessarily the Rinnegan, just Rinnegan-like in appearance
The chart was not mine, but it could be possible the mother was the Byakugan progenitor, but i really dont want to jump to such conjectures

In the chart his eye is red, but it isnt at the bottom of the thread though. It is suppose to be red there as well?
Cause at the bottom, that eye looks like Rinnegan (the one with the tomoe), but it isnt one? Cause the elder son doesnt have the sage's body.
