after shishui death it was reset by who? itachi? the eye didint belong to him and that was not his jutsu??? also the point of itachi programming amaterasu....doesn't sasuke have that in his arsenal to begin with? not only that but he uses amaterasu better than itachi. also it doesnt have a ten year reactivation time.

you keep sayin more infuence but what if i told you that itachi was the one who influenced shisui. and you know why i can say that because the manga hasn't stated it to be flase. itachi just said that shisui shared the same ideals as him. what if itachi was the one that asked shisui to help him.? how does your theory work then.?

itachi said he learned protecting the village from its shadows form shisui.... and shisui , when he went to talk to itachi stated that he tried to stop the rebellion by casting KA (probably) in his flashback in chapter (i will love you forever) to sasuke..as if itachi didnt know about shisui's plans to use KA to stop Fugaku's plans...
Also Sasuke didnt even know how to use the Amateratsu before that because he wasnt couldnt remember he had MS unlocked before...

Shisui had MS activated when he told itachi to protect konoha, but shisui knew itachi wouldnt have wanted to killl his own clan,
shisui died after not before he told him to protect konoha,

sorry i just don't agree with you...the manga has made it pretty clear that itachi had no problem klling his clan...(his family different story). third hokage went about it in a different more subtle way...but danzou did not want peace period ...when shisui tried using KA he got his eye snatched by danzou and after seeing that itachi had enough of this meaningless feud and did not want the village to go trough war and be again in bad times like pre-village era( where current manga is)

i know Shisui was shown in the manga pic with the eye in his hand when he said "please protect the village" but he still might have said it while his eye was still in, he might have even pointed it at Itachi when he said it while holding it.

Itachi could still feel emotion after KA broke him out of EDO Tensei control when he gave Sasuke his last hug bye....

it is STILL possible, i know its a bit of a stretch , but like Sasuke and Kakashi having unlocked MS once before actually remembering it.
It could still be revealed through more chapters that when Shisui said that, "protect the village" line , he cast KA on itachi..
remember Itachi doesnt have to look into your eyes to cast Tsukunomi

Itachi knew what he had to do to better the village, I think he would kill his whole clan just for sasuke and that this was said in the Manga that he saw the better path like 20 times. Well to tell you something Itachi would never know when KA is casted on him, its the greatest afterall. After I saw that Danzo used it on the Samurai leader and was undetected but only seen by a byakugan user, I'm confident that if Shusui used Koto on Itachi he would never notice
