This Base always needs a bit of education and these points were blatantly obvious, unless someone wasn't stoned. But, I believe this was still needed.
I have a slight disagreement. Madara probably didn't initiate the plan until - he had read the Tablet - he was not completely ousted by Uchiha clan. Remember, he lost everything for the clan's benefit, and to face such betrayal would have pushed any man to his limits. That made him snap and changed his ideals on life. We all go through change in philosophies when we experience the death of a loved one, betrayal from those closet to it. That would explain his faithlessness in humanity.
I doubt the Tablet spoke of infinite Tsukuyomi in any form. But his research on Juubi might have brought about that knowledge as all tailed beasts can be bested with Genjutsu and if the Tsukuyomi is reflected on the moon, it can be cast on the entire world. Then the question of infinite comes to mind. One would need a large amount of chakra source that is able to replenish itself eternally to maintain the Genjutsu, hence the Juubi.
Henceforth, Madara after Uchiha clan's betrayal - albeit he gave up everything for them, including his brother - and Senju clan's slating attitude to horde all the power - except Hashirama - made him alter his philosophy. He already had the knowledge, but before these successive chain of events, I doubt he needed to put it into action. I see no reason for him to do so.
But, I agree with the rest of it. After these events and metamorphosis in his persona, he decided to device a plan and challenged Hashirama. I thought all this was always clear, but this base is filled to the brim with challenged ones, one can never be too sure. Good job.
