Why is everyone assuming the Sage of Six Paths is strong?

Well since the sage was able to take on the Juubi by himself and seal it into himself he's obviously not weaker then Hashirama and Madara.

Okay so lets Chit-Chat about your topic then Gent.

The reason the sage of Six Paths is a Legend is because he who founded the arts of ninjutsu and created the ninja world. He defeated the Ten-Tails and sealed it within his own body, thus becoming the first jinchūriki.

Now the simple fact he created the moon is alone what can tell you what his power levels were at plus on top of that he was able to split the Ten-tails into 9 separate beast

He was the First with the rinnegan, He had weapons that if any normal shinobi wielded them they would be instantly killed , plus the fact the even with the combined power of Madara and Hashirama ; Madara himself even stated that he was only a Fraction dude an Effing Fraction of the Sages power he didn't say a 1/2 or 1/3 or 2/4 or 3/ 16 no the nigga said a Fraction like .000000002% of the power the sage had lol

Man, it's ok to have an opinion on this. It's just that it's almost unfathomable to view him as anything other than the most powerful. He had the body to be the Jinchuriki of the Juubi! Created the moon in the worst of his health with Chibaku Tensei, imagine what he could do with that in full health? Basically created Ninjutsu and the basis for the entire Narutoverse. There is a reason he is revered as the "God" of the Narutoverse.

I respect your opinion since we don't have any actual evidence of his power, but the scale of what we do know is more than enough to assume that he is far beyond anyone's capabilities.
