*Ulquiorra appears to be shocked after witnessing what has just occurred before him* (O_O)

I'd like to complete the final element that I have received no prior training in, if that is okay, before moving on with the whole tai, nin, gen, and kenjutsu stuff.

Fire is the rapid oxidation of a material, and this is most commonly known as combustion. It releases heat, can be used as a light source, and is the catalyst for other products/processes. In the ninja world I have noted that most fire techniques involve more of an offensive approach rather than a defensive one, however, this is not true with very single fire technique of course. Well, it's weak against water, and strong against wind, so most people tend to use a fire/wind combo to really do some damage to their opponent. That is all I know as of now.

What can you create with elemental combinations using fire?

What is the most common hand seal attributed to fire techniques?

Why is it strong against wind and weak against water?

How does it interact with other elements when they clash?

With the combination of fire and water one can create Boil release.
With the combination of fire and earth one can create Lava release.

The Tiger hand seal is most commonly attributed with fire techniques.

It is strong against wind because the wind "fans the flames" giving out more oxygen thus increasing the potency of the fire technique combined with it. However, if, say, a D rank fire tech were to collide with an A rank wind tech, the fire technique would be muffled out due to the low intensity of the flames. It is weak against water simply because the water cools the flames and smothers them out quickly.

So when a fire technique and a wind technique clashed with the same rank, the fire technique would become strengthened and consume the wind jutsu, bumping the fire technique up a rank, I believe. On the other hand, if a fire technique of equal rank clashes with a water technique, then the water technique would completely smother out the fire jutsu.

Good.

I take a rock into my hand and focus fire chakra into it. Rather than creating flames, I simply warm the rock, and toss it to you.

Take that rock and begin meditating on fire. Focus on the heat of the rock and imagine a flame in your mind. Build that flame and as your focus it will become larger and more intense.

*I catch the rock and immediately begin to feel the heat emanating from within it. I then look at Typhon and nod with a confident facial expression, proceeding to sit down with my legs in a crossed position, closing my eyes and meditating as instructed. I begin to feel the wind blowing around us as the heat of the sun bears down upon the earth relentlessly. "Focus on the heat of the rock and imagine the flame in your mind" a familiar voice echoed from my consciousness, as I began to imagine a small, dim flame surrounded by darkness. As this occurs I take note of the feeling of warmth that is radiating through out my palms as I'm grasping the heated rock. I then begin to truly feel for the element, as time passes by and the small, dim flame seemed to have increased in size and intensity. It was during this time that I realized that the darkness surrounding the flame seemed to have retreated from the source of light. "Fire" I thought to myself, "It is fierce and reliable, it gives chase to the darkness and destroys anything in it's path. It is truly a destructive element." At this point the flame that I had been imagining had evolved into a fire of monumental proportion, and I could feel it's heat consume me as I suddenly opened my eyes in amazement. "I.." said I, "....need some water! I'm parched!"*

Who said you're done!

I launch a rock at high speeds which strikes you on the forehead, knocking you over and leaving a large welt.

Now, that rock was supposed to test your level of meditation, but you lost concentration before I even had the chance! Do it again!

* "B-but!" said I right before the rock is launched straight unto my forehead, touching the large welt carefully with a painful facial expression afterwards. "Y-yes, sensei." I responded as I sobbed slightly, I pick up the rock, sit down in a crossed legged position once again, close my eyes and begin to meditate. "...", nothing but the sound of the wind passing by and the subtle movement of the surrounding sand being uplifted were heard, as time seemed to have stood still. The minutes soon after turning into hours as I meditated under the sun.*

* "Gah! What was that for!?" I stand upright and quickly reach for the small gourd of ice cold water, pouring some of it on my face after having a drink. "At least the right side of my forehead is even with the left side now." :| *

*sigh*

You're still not getting it my student. If you were truly in a state of focus, you wouldn't even feel the rock. All that is happening in the outside world would be non-existent to you. Dive deep within your own mind, leave this world behind.

Now, try it again.

*picks up a rock*

* "I understand.." Once again, I sat down in a crossed legged position, determined to lose myself within the realm of my mind. The process repeated once again, as time flew by and I soon began to enter a state of complete enlightenment towards the fire element.*

*throws a rock at you*

This time, as the rock approaches flames erupt from your body and incinerate the stone before it reaches you.

Hmmm....good, good.

You have unlocked your fire chakra, do you have any questions before we move on?

Alright, lets get started! :scorps:

Make the tiger hand seal and focus your fire chakra to your gullet. Release it through your mouth and as you do shape it into a soccer ball sized fireball and hit that target over there.

*points at the target*

*I turns towards the target only about 5 meters away from me and make the Tiger hand seal. I then begin to focus my katon chakra into my gullet. I take my time doing this at first so as to make sure that I get it on the first attempt, even going so far as to closing my eyes to get a feel for the chakra better. Once I believe I've gathered enough I then release it through my mouth, using shape manipulation to form the fire into a soccer ball size that begins to race towards the target. The fireball makes contact with the target, hitting it's chest area and burning it moderately. "I did it!"*
