Good. Your knowledge of human anatomy is suffifient.

Cause the word "p h a g" is in it. >.>

Weird filters are weird.

Incoming. (O_O)
*I turns towards the target only about a couple of meters away from me I then begin to focus my katon chakra into my gullet. I take my time doing this at first so as to make sure that I get it on the first attempt, even going so far as to closing my eyes to get a feel for the chakra better. Once I believe I've gathered enough I then release it through my mouth, using shape manipulation to form the fire into a soccer ball size that begins to race towards the target. The fireball makes contact with the target, hitting it's chest area and burning it moderately.*

Advantages: Could possibly be used to distract the opponent or to ignite something quickly.

Disadvantages: Low damage, short range only of 0-5 meters.

How it looks: Small fire ball approximately the size of a soccer ball.

Limits of it's usage: As stated earlier the fact that is has a short range coupled with it's low damage means that this technique may best be used to distract the opponent or ignite something.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
*Once again I begin by facing towards the target dummy only several meters away from my initial location. I reach into my ninja tool pouch and pull out three shuriken weapons, while doing so I also begin to gather my katon chakra. At this point I have gathered enough, and launch the three shuriken at the dummy. As soon as they are released I then release the katon chakra that I had built up in order to ignite the tossed shuriken. The shuriken are enveloped with fire and hit the dummy directly one after the other in the chest area,*

Advantages: A good way to enhance the lethal potential within the shuriken weapon.

Disadvantages: As this is only an enhancement to the shuriken, it doesn't change the fact that the target could evade the projectiles fairly easily.

How it looks: Imagine a shuriken. Now imagine it... on FIRE!

Limits of it's usage: With out the shuriken weapon the user would not be able to perform this technique.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
*I look above towards the sky to begin, and I then begin to focus my katon chakra into my gullet. I take my time doing this at first so as to make sure that I get it on the first attempt, even going so far as to closing my eyes to get a feel for the chakra better. Once I believe I've gathered enough I then release it through my mouth, using shape manipulation to form the fire into a small sized fireball that begins to race towards the sky where it is sent flying high until it disperses.*

Advantages: Could best be used to ignite something.

Disadvantages: Low damage, short range only of 0-5 meters.

How it looks: A small spherical shaped fireball.

Limits to it's usage: As stated earlier the fact that is has a short range coupled with it's low damage means that this technique may best be used ignite something.

Question! How is this technique any different then the Dragon Flame Blitz technique other than it's name? xd
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
*I begin by performing the required hand seals Snake → Ram → Monkey → Tiger, and as I'm doing this I gather my katon chakra in my lungs. I then proceed to blow out a flammable gas that clusters together at about 4 meters away from me. I then gather my katon chakra up quickly and release it into a small fireball. As the fireball makes contact with the gas it erupts into a baptism of fire.*

Advantages: A good way to hurt the opponent if they are trapped within a certain confined area. Could also be used to flush them out of that area.

Disadvantages: Short range and requires 4 hand signs to execute which increases prep time.

How it looks: A gaseous area that accumulates where directed.

Limits to it's usage: This technique seems to be a very situation based jutsu.

EDIT: Just wanted to let you know that I won't be online that often this week due to school related activities.

Okay good.

However, for the dragon flame blitz read the description again:

Description: The user shoots balls of fire at the opponent.
Its multiple fireballs, not just one. I'd say 3-4 at max. Hopefully that answers your question as well. :p

That concludes the D-rank fire techniques. Do you have any questions about them before we move on?

(That's fine, just respond when you're free ^^)

*I turn towards you and form the Tiger hand seal. I then begin to gather my katon chakra, gathering enough to execute the technique I then release it into a steady stream of fire that is headed towards you. Upon contact the heat from the steam of fire causes you to weaken, your legs begin to wobble like jello and you soon after proceed to collapse onto the ground like a wittle baby.*

Good :p

( Katon: Shōkasou ) - Fire Release: Small Fire Stream
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will create a small short flame at the opponent. This flame is capable of making the target collapse due to the heat of the technique. This technique requires no handseals.

-Done-

We're going to do multiple techniques at a time now. For each one I want you to:

1.) List pros/cons
2.) Explain how its executed
3.) Explain its effects
4.) A scenario when to use it
5.) How it can be defended against
6.) Use it

(Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: After performing the necessary hand seals Snake → Ram → Monkey → Boar → Horse → Tiger, a ninja inhales air, and utilizing a large amount of fire chakra, spews a large fireball from their mouth after blowing through a ring made by the thumb and index finger of the user, incinerating everything in range. The fireball ignites externally.

(Katon: Kimuchi Amura ) - Fire Release: Wall of Flames
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary/Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user first throws out a lighter that has an open flame. The user the turns the flame into a wall of fire used for protection or to burn small objects thrown towards him. This jutsu can be used with Hurricane Fist to create a combo jutsu.

(Katon: Hibashiri ) - Fire Release: Running Fire
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal by utilizing their fire chakra, the user will create a stream of fire that can be manipulated into several forms (rings of fire that runs on the ground or a circle of fire flying through the air) before striking the target. It can also be used in combination with a suitable wind technique to release a massive inferno.

Got it.

*I start by performing the required hand signs Snake → Ram → Monkey → Boar → Horse → Tiger, as I'm doing this I gather a large amount of katon chakra into my lungs. Once I've gathered enough I then use my thumb and index finger to create a ring, and I blow outwards expelling a large fireball that is created as soon as I blow through the ring. The fireball hit a nearby tree and sets it ablaze.*

Pros: Decent damage projectile technique that has a fairly good area of effect as suggested in the description along with low chakra cost.

Cons: Requires a poop load of hand signs to perform which will increase the prep time to execute the technique. Short range of 0 to 5 meters only as well.

This technique is performed by weaving the required hand seals and after gathering a large portion of katon chakra, the user must form a ring shape with their thumb and index finger before expelling.

This technique does good enough damage to burn the opponent pretty badly, so I'd say that given that it's a projectile based technique, the best way to use it would be to ensnare the enemy, hindering their movement or by trapping them within a confined space.

This technique can be defended against fairly easily due to the fact that it's a projectile based technique. Although it has a large area of effect the user's enemy may simply put up a B rank earth technique or any other higher ranking jutsu to encase/protect themselves from the blast.

It's effects, if making direct contact it will severely burn the target hindering their movement if a limb is burned badly enough. The limb might also become numb due to the burn.
________________________________
*I begin by pulling out a lighter, proceeding to spark a flame with one pull of the thumb, and toss it about a meter away from directly in front of me. By manipulating the flame with my katon chakra I then proceed to turn the flame into a wall of fire. The wall of fire is large enough to protect me from incoming small objects.*

This is a weird technique. (O_O)

Pros: No hand seals required so hardly any prep time at all. Great means for defense, and a good way to get the opponent to back off. Burns small incoming projectiles as well.

Cons: Well.. if one does not have a lighter than the user could not execute this technique, unless you stated that you had a lighter in your pouch in the beginning of a battle. Or is it like kunai and shuriken where it's basically a given that you'd have a lighter in your pouch? Anyways. xd It can only protect against small projectiles.

This technique is executed by tossing a lighter and utilizing shape manipulation to turn the flame into a wall of fire.

It's effects are that it can burn up small incoming projectiles which may come in handy when being bombarded with them.

As said above if the enemy is launching multiple shuriken at you and uses the shuriken shadow clone jutsu, then this technique would be perfect to defend against them.

Seeing as to how this technique is not an attack or an offensive move but rather a defensive one, I do not think their is any way to "defend" against it. :p
____________________________
*I turn towards a nearby tree and make the Tiger hand seal. I then gather a sufficient amount of my katon chakra and proceed to create a stream of fire, using shape manipulation to then turn the stream into several rings of fire that run along the ground towards the tree. Upon contact the tree is set on fire and burned down.*

Pros: Has a good range of 0-10 meters. Does good damage and can be manipulated several ways before reaching it's target.
Question: Regarding the manipulation part, is the user only limited to change it to "(rings of fire that runs on the ground or a circle of fire flying through the air)" Or can they get creative with it?

Cons: Requires one hand seal to create increasing prep time.

This technique is executed by striking the Tiger hand seal, gathering katon chakra and releasing it into a stream of fire that can be manipulated.

It's effects on the opponent might slightly vary on how it's manipulated, however the result might be the same, burns across the contact area that may hinder the opponent.

This technique may best be used when the user has a clear visual on the opponent and when they are in range, if the opponent sends a lower ranking technique at the user then this attack may overpower it.

Best way to defend against this technique would be to encase yourself within something strong that could withstand the full force of the jutsu.

Good on the first one.

For the second one (fire wall), it can be used with some wind techniques as a combo. Tell me a few of these and how exactly they combine.

For the third one, I would stick with the two ways of manipulating described in the description.

I'll start off with the Hurricane Fist technique; when used in conjunction with the fire wall the adaptable wind sent forward with the user's fist meets with the fire wall and combines with it to form a fire and wind ranged attack.

With the Tornado Wall technique, the tornadoes could pick up the fire wall transforming the tornadoes into a deadlier attack. So if an enemy were to send small projectiles at the user, the user could set up the fire wall and then while behind the wall the user would perform the tornado technique, combine it with the fire wall and send it towards the enemy. Would this work? I have my doubts because the S rank wind might snuff out the C rank fire.

So in essence most wind techniques could combine with the fire wall to add more damage to them but the interesting thing that I have just noted is that if the fire wall cuts the line of sight that the enemy has on the user, then it would make for a great surprise attack because the enemy would not be able to see what you're doing behind the wall. This is assuming that the wall blocks the enemies view of you though, I might be over thinking it.

Your doubts are correct. The fire would simply be blown out by an S-rank wind technique, or A-rank too for that matter. The highest that would be capable of combining with it would be B-rank wind.

Other than that, good. ^^

Next batch:

( Katon: Ryūka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user will perform four handseals Snake → Dragon → Rabbit → Tiger , and breathe fire along a cord or any other type of long object, which rushes forward in straight line catching the enemy on fire. A line of enemies can be used as the conductor as well. The flames are meant to target, and assault the enemy's upper body just like a projectile weapon.

( Katon: Karyūdan ) - Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user exhales a flame breath from their mouth after making one handseal. This technique can be used in conjunction with Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet to ignite the projectiles fired by the latter technique, making it more devastating.

( Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user first performs six hand seals Rat → Tiger → Dog → Ox → Rabbit → Tiger and they create a volley of small fireballs, which are sent flying in an unpredictable manner assaulting the enemy. In addition, the flames are controlled one by one with chakra, so avoiding them all is extremely difficult. Shuriken can also be concealed within the flames, creating an unexpected secondary surprise attack. Like the flames, the shuriken can be controlled with chakra. For the most part, however, this technique is used as a distraction.

*I begin by performing the required hand seals Snake → Dragon → Rabbit → Tiger, while doing this I also gather my katon chakra into my lungs. Once I've gathered enough I then turn towards a group of conveniently aligned trees that are about my height, one behind the other and breathe out a fire that hits the first tree and continues in a line, burning the other trees behind it. The trees' upper portion burns down first.*

Pros: Good range of 0-10 meters. Also a good way to attack multiple enemies if they are aligned properly or to make the fire travel through some sort of cord/long projectile.

Cons: Four hand seals are required to execute this technique which will increase prep time and if the user's enemies are not in a line than this technique cannot be used on them.

How it's executed: By performing the four required hand seals and gathering katon chakra, the user then release it into a fire that travels along a line of enemies/cords/ long projectiles.

Explain it's effects: The target will suffer pretty bad burns in the upper body since this technique targets the upper body only.

When to use it: Best used when enemies are in a line or if the user has the appropriate tools to execute the technique properly.

How it can be defended against: As long as the target evades or blocks long ranged projectiles or cords then they should be good.
___________________
*I begin by gathering my katon chakra into my lungs. Once I've gathered enough I then make the Tiger hand seal and proceed to expel a flame breath from my mouth that is directed towards a nearby tree. Upon contact the tree begins to burn down fairly quickly, being hit in the middle area.*

Pros: Great range, good damage and can be used in conjunction with the Earth Dragon Bullet technique to pull off a good combo.

Cons: Requires one hand seal to perform which increase prep time, slightly although.

How it's executed: By gathering katon chakra into your lungs, forming the Tiger hand seal and expelling a fiery breath.

Explain it's effects: Since it's a stream of fire then depending on where it's aimed at towards the body, the burn injuries would be moderate to severe.

When to use it: Best to use when you need to pull off a quick attack on the opponent. Along with the Earth Dragon Bullet technique it would do some serious damage.

How it can be defended against: Best way to defend would be to send a higher ranking technique that would dissipate the stream of fire.
______________________
*I start by performing the six required hand seals Rat → Tiger → Dog → Ox → Rabbit → Tiger, creating a volley of small fireballs that are sent flying into an unpredictable manner towards the group of trees that I have turned towards. Upon contact the trees begin to burn in random areas.*

Pros: Multiple fireballs that are sent towards the enemy in an unpredictable manner. Flames can be controlled with chakra and Shruiken can be concealed and controlled in the flames as well. Can be used as a distraction.

Cons: Six hand seals. O_O Six.

How it's executed: The user performs the six required hand seals and create an array of multiple balls of fire that erratically attack the target.

Explain it's effects: The burns suffered from the fireballs would be in random places, and it would damage the opponent pretty badly.

When to use it: As stated in the description it would be good to use as a distraction.

How it can be defended against: By encasing themselves within something, the target should be able to protect themselves.

For the first one:

You need to breath out the fire along something, for instance a wire or a string. That's also a con for it since you need to a tool to use it with. This actually makes it so the targets don't need to be in a line. If you get the strong to wrap around several targets, or use multiple strings for multiple targets, it doesn't matter what their arrangement is.

Other than that, good.

Okay, next batch:

( Katon: Honoo no Saigai Hi Kagayaku no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Flame of Disaster Fire Shine Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user releases a flame of fire chakra that converges on the opponent wrapping around them and burning them.

( Katon: Rakka Sanran Kasai ) - Fire Release: Falling Fire Scatter
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user whilst in mid air will release from their mouth a series of small fire shots that rain down upon the target.

( Katon: Kitsunebi ) - Fire Release: Fire Whisp
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user creates a small ball of bright fire from their mouth that shoots at the opponent burning on impact.

Ah, thanks for clearing that one up, I was confused.

*I begin by gathering my katon chakra while setting my eyes on a nearby tree. Once I've gathered enough I then expel it, releasing a flame of fire chakra that heads towards the tree. As it begins to approach the tree I use shape manipulation to change the fire into a net like structure that wraps around the tree, burning it thoroughly.*

Pros: Has a good range and fire is able to wrap around the opponent entirely, burning them.

Cons: An equally ranking or above wind technique for example could easily disperse it since it's a direct projectile type attack.

How it's executed: The user will first gather their Katon chakra, releasing a fire that upon contact with the enemy wraps around them and burns them.

Explain it's effects: The target will receive burns around the entire body due to the flame wrapping itself around the body of the target completely.

When to use it: Best used when the user has a clear shot on his opponent since it's a projectile based attack.

How it can be defended against: By encasing themselves within a strong substance, the target may be protected from the attack granted that the defense covers their entire body.
__________________
*I begin to make my way over to a medium sized ledge in the area, and climb to the top of it. As I reach the top I'm able to see the entire scope of the surrounding training area high up, and begin to gather my katon chakra. Once I've gathered enough I then jump off of the ledge, expelling multiple balls of fire that reign down over the nearby tree. As they make contact with the tree it is burned down after a small amount of time.*

Pros: A good attack to use when in the air and over the enemy as their are multiple balls of fire that the enemy needs to worry about.

Cons: Technique can't be used on the ground.

How it's executed: The user will gather their katon chakra in mid air, and release it into multiple balls of fire that reign down upon the target.

Explain it's effects: The balls of fire will make contact through out the entire body, moderately burning the area that had made contact with the balls.

When to use it: Best used when in mid air and needing to send a quick attack towards their opponent.

How it can be defended: Since their are multiple fireballs the best way to defend would be to hide underground or to encase yourself within something.
________________
*I begin by gathering my katon chakra, focusing on my gullet. I then proceed to turn towards another tree, expelling a small, bright ball of fire that heads towards the tree. The tree is hit in it's trunk directly and as it is hit the ball disperses into flames that burn the tree upon impact.*

Pros: Good quick way to get off an attack with decent damage.

Cons: Small ball of fire so it has a small area of effect to work with.

Question: Does the brightness of the ball affect the sight of the target at all or is that there just to make it sounds pretty?

How it's executed: The user will gather their katon chakra and release a small ball of fire that burns upon impact.

Explain it's effects: Since the ball has such a small area of effect the part of the body that this attack is hit by will receive really bad burns.

When to use it: Best used when trying to get off a quick attack on your opponent due to no hand seals required.

How to defend against it: A good defense would be to use a technique that would get you out of the way quickly, since the ball is small it should be easy to do this.

Why? o_O

Fire>Wind, so an equally ranked wind technique would be an invalid defense against this. The fire would overcome the wind and burn the target, albeit at less than full power.

Question: Does the brightness of the ball affect the sight of the target at all or is that there just to make it sounds pretty?
I would say no. As a rule of thumb, if an affect is not explicitly stated in the technique, it doesn't happen. So yeah, just to sound pretty. :p

Also, I noticed you haven't been using hand seals. Another rule of thumb, unless the technique has been shown to not use hand seals or the description states it doesn't use hand seals, always assume it requires at least 1 or 2 hand seals. Since these are fire techniques, just use the tiger hand seal.

That concludes C-rank techniques. Any questions before we begin B?

Must have not been thinking straight at the time. XD

And I'm ready to move on, I had no idea about the hand seal thing though, so thanks for letting me know.

Damage points: 40
Description: The user shoots multiple fire shots from their hands that are able to cause fiery explosions on impact with any object. The shots can't set the opponent on fire, though they can cause damage by exploding on him.

( Katon: Hiendan ) – Fire Release: Soaring Flame Bullet
Rank: B
Type: Offense, Deffence
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40

*I walk towards a nearby tree and position myself so that I'm about 8 meters away from it. I then perform the required hand seals Ram → Horse → Snake → Dragon → Rat → Ox → Tiger and knead my chakra into flames, as I then use shape manipulation to create a dragon like appearance of the flames. I send the flame dragon towards the tree and as it approaches the target the flames split apart into three, coming at the tree from it's left, right and front sides. Upon simultaneous contact with the tree the three flames consume the tree very quickly, burning the tree down into nothing.* O_O

Pros: Good range, nice damage, and attacks the enemy from three different directions.

Cons: Seven hand seals required.

How it's Executed: The user will perform seven hand seals and knead their chakra into flames, creating a dragon like flame thing that splits off into three different flame attacks that attack in different direction.

Explain it's effects: As stated in the description the attack burns the enemy in three different areas of the body badly.

When to use it: Best used when you need an attack that must bypass around some sort of barrier protecting the front portion of the enemy.

How to defend against it: Best way to defend against would be to encase yourself within something completely.

*I turn towards a tree, form the Tiger hand seal and begin to gather my katon chakra into my hands. Once I've gathered enough I then proceed to thrust one of my arms forward, sending a ball of fire that explodes unto the tree upon contact. I then continue by launching several more balls in quick succession, left to right and back to the left again, sending three more fire balls that explode on the tree, completely destroying it.*

Pros: Multiple, more then one fireball that comes at the enemy and explodes upon contact.

Cons: Doesn't set the target on fire.

How it's Executed: The user gathers their Katon chakra into their hands and then sends multiple fireballs that explode upon contact of the target.

Explain it's effects: The balls of fire explode upon contact, so it might cause bad burns on or around the general area of the contact spot.

When to use it: Best used when trying to get off multiple quick attacks headed towards the enemy/target.

How to defend against it: By using a technique that would move you away from the projectile's direction or protecting yourself with some type of barrier.

*I begin by making the Tiger hand seal, while gathering a large amount of katon chakra into my gullet. As I have gathered enough I then create a ring shape with my thumb and index finger, exhaling a large fireball from my mouth that makes contact with a tree only about 4 meters away from me. The fireball burns everything in it's path including the tree that I had aimed at.*

Question: So for this technique I'd just have to perform the Tiger hand seal since it doesn't really say that I have to perform the six hand seals from the original jutsu right?

Pros: A great ball of fire with a good area of effect that does pretty good damage.

Cons: Very short range.

How it's Executed: The user gathers a large amount of katon chakra, forms a ring shape with their thumb and index finger and exhales a large fireball that burns everything in it's path.

Explain it's effects: It'll severely burn whatever part of the target it makes contact with due to the dense concentration of fire.

When to use it: Best used when the user has a clear shot at their opponent.

How to defend against it: If the target encases themselves within something or uses some sort of technique that would pull them away from the fireball's path on time they'd have successfully evaded the jutsu.
