Woman: -enters the airport and follows some signs intently. Until she finds the sight she wished she'd never seen, A sign that points down. Downwards, into the mass of infected that walk below. She looks down from the balcony above them at there movement, seeing if there's a pattern that could help her get around them. There isn't. Unarmed and desperate she begins to slowly descend the long escalator that leads to them. Being broken, the escalator is more like a stair case, but this simple fact didn't matter to her, she was walking into impending death... mode of transport wasn't exactly high on he priorities right now.
Then she suddenly sees a break emerge in the wall of zombies that stumble around beside her. Taking her moment she throws herself over the side of the escalator and rolls as she hits the ground, she feels a pop in her foot and the bump of the landing takes the wind out of her lungs, but she doesn't stop, she can't afford to care about this in her predicament. Running for her life but away from her target she knows she needs a way out. She dropped from the escalator not to run. But to survive and find what she was looking for. Quickly ripping to her left as one of the slow-minded creatures flings itself at her from the huddle on her right she is headed straight for a wall. At the last second however she realizes its more than just a wall as her eyes quickly glance up and notice the narrow ledge that extends its way across the room from the wall she now heads to.
Now scanning the floor around her for help she locks her eyes firmly on a bench a few meters away. The huddle of zombies between her and the bench seem insignificant now as she pushes her way through them, she quickly steps up onto the bench and pounces up the wall in an almost cat like manner and flings herself up onto the ledge above. Grabbing hold of it tightly she clings on and heaves herself up now realizing that the ledge is wider than first thought, this doesn't however mean it is safe, not by any means. She scurries slowly with across the ledge with her back firmly against the wall, she makes it round the room and remains standing on the ledge, looking down at her clueless possible killers forced to do nothing but wait. She sits looking down on the creatures as they scurry around hopelessly below her occasionally on stumbles and takes few more down with it, she tries to see the humor in the situation as they try desperately to stand up again but never quite manage it, but this is not the place or time for humor. Once she is out of this place and safe she can look back on the zombies falling down and the futile attempts to stand, then and only then will she laugh.
With night falling she feels her body becoming tired and knows that if she doesn't make a move now, the chance could never come. So without thinking she drops from the ledge, landing directly down on top of a walker. She then quickly climbs to her feet, using the zombies head as a platform to push off of as the Olympic runners use there platforms. She picks up speed as she bursts through the air pumping her legs harder than she has before eventually she crashes through a door and flies through it onto the ground, quickly she spins and stands up slamming the door shut behind her and giving an exasperated chuckle as she slides the lock across into it's slot.
She then turns and makes her way to the desk, scanning her eyes quickly across all the screens that line the room she grabs a talkie from the desk then checks her hand as it is now covered with unfamiliar blood, this can't bother her now however so she clicks the button and her voice rings through the channel and into the talkie that was left in the van back at base.-
Hey, you there?
