Ok, i was wondering, what the hell happened to the ideas in zombie films?


Ok well ive started watching non stop zombie movies just because i think they are awsome, but the idea of zombies is being ruined as people are now having them run?!?! wtf, they are reanimated corpses they shouldnt have the mobilitiy to run its just gay!

My favourite zombie film has got to be resident evil, ok the idea of alice being super human is a bit gay, but zombie which walk slow is great, and taking over the world because of some gay company is cool.

But then i watch films like 28 days later or dead air or something like that and its just like what the hell? Zombies should never run! Ever! lol

First film started as some guys from organization for protecting animals set free few mokeys that were experimented on and that were infected by some kind of mutated rabies which could effect humas as well. After they got bitten they spreaded virus through city/state/continent... So as they were infected by rabies they weren't acting as human, they were acting like some wild beasts that want to eat something xD
btw it is one of the best horror movies that i have ever watched...

Original title is REC and i can say "Quarantine" is a piece of crap in comparision with the original REC.​

OK here is my argument;

In todays more modern zombie texts, the idea that zombies can run is because they are created out of experimentation with biological warfare meaning that they are 'enhanced' humans although they may not be the smartest of creatures, their physical attributes are heavily upgraded, the best example is 28 days later (or weeks). lol this is kinda my specialty i study zombie films as part of my college course id write an essay on this ut i cant be bothered.

out of zombie movies i prefer night of the living dead and dawn of the dead. the first one had some good suspense also shows what parinoia can do to people end up fighting each other. the second one shows a more survival aproach to me living in a mall so they can survive with a some abundance of food supply and water in the mall. those are my faves of the zombie genre.
