Zetzu is telling Madara what happened... did you notice him?

I really don't think so. Theres just no reason to do it. We've seen Zetsu plenty of times coming out of the surroundings after a fight is over, so why would Kishi decide that this time hes going to be sneaky about it?

Well Zetzu HAS TO BE in Konoha to watch the fight for Madara... plain and simple. Kishi may draw a closer up version of Zetzu, but most likely not...

Why I say he won't... is that he will present Madara having some new plans. Most likely they will involve stopping Sasuke from going to Konoha. And we won't know why. Other than Madara doesn't want to give Sasuke up to Konoha. If Pein loses to Naruto... Sasuke definitely will...

I guess we'll see...

True, it is a rock, but possibly a zetsu as well. Why else would that panel have been shown. I don't think it has anything to do wiht the destruction of konoha, it shows too little of the village. I don't really want to go and rad the manga chapter but was that the spot god realm was when naruto knocked him out?
I would think that kishi would make it a bit more obvious if he zetsu was there, and he would probably put zetsu somewhere close to where the actions at, not where it's already been. Like in the past zetsu has been shown clearly.

But good find if it is zetsu. Or you must be on something.

maybe when naruto kicked yahiko pain into the rock to get the chakra rod, yahiko hit zetsu in the face and knocked him out in that position!!!
just kidding, but but! Naruto would have noticed his chakra, since he can detect chakra in sage mode, and if he was somewhere around, he would have killed him. unless zetsu knows how to hide his chakra.

It is just a rock. There is no face. I went and checked the manga without markings. You need a lot of imagination to see anything resembling a face there.

If Kishi wanted to show Zetsu in that panel, nobody was stopping him in being more clear... at least show us a clear cut outline and eyes.

I just thought of something else... as to why Kishi was being discrete about Zetzu...

1. Konan's jutsu is a cloak that prevents anyone outside of the tree, from sensing the chakra inside of it... because Nagato is completely defenseless....

2. Zetzu was watching the fight taking place inside of Konoha, and did not know the location of Nagato.

3. Nagato and Konan know that Zetzu is Madara's spy.

4. Why would Konan keep the tree barrier up, once Naruto got inside?

5. Zetzu's mission is to record every part of the battle... just like with Sasuke and Itachi. The reason Madara was able to figure out that Itachi gave Sasuke the MS, was because of Zetzu's recordings...

6. Zetzu was unable to view what was going on at a distance, so he needed to sneak up close.

7. When the tree jutsu was released, it happened in an instant, and Zetzu needed to hide quickly...

THUS... his need to hide quickly... is why Kishi drew him in this manner

He appears like Yamato does from trees... We see Yamato and Zetzu... the characters do not... Kishi likes to sneak things into the cells... Zetzu's job is to spy and report to Madara... not to reveal himself and give himself away.

HAHA I know its sooo random!!! I am stuck reading the latest manga at work, on my MotorolaQ. I can only view it fullscreen. So I am stuck reading it 1 cell ever 10 minutes or so at work... at a time... and when I was stuck on that cell... I was just like.... ZETZU!!! HAHAHA. It gives me something to look forward to on Fridays

EVERYTHING I predicted was true... Zetzu was there, Zetzu was recording what was happening, and in order to do it, he had to be up close to Konan's "paper-tree" jutsu that hid their chakra....

If you still care to believe that image isn't Zetzu, thats cool and all... but if the newest Manga shows Zetzu talking to Madara... I'll know I am 100% correct.
