Zetsu, how long has he been around?

Obviously no one knows, but I curious of NB'ers opinions and guesses.

So take a educational guess of how long Zetsu has been around and involved in the story, like if Kishi showed us a flashback how long ago would it be.

I'd say a few months after the time after Madara and Hashi fight.

What's your guess?

Well, according to Madara, the war was planned
And Tobi seems to always have intended to use Zetsu as an army
So Zetsu is between the Hashi-Madara battle and the attack of the ninetails
Can't really be more precise xD lack of info
