- The Wolf Clan -
It is a dark night in the forest, where the Wolf Clan resides. The moon is full and high in the sky, while the wind is blowing through the trees like a storm, as you can see tree branches break and fall to the ground, leaves are being ripped off the branches to fly off into the distance, while you can hear the sound of a howling wolf and something moving behind the bushes.
Dominus: “Trust your instincts… be one with nature…you know what you must do…”
Dominus, the old hound who teaches the younglings, is leaning onto a nearby tree while speaking to one of his students about his training, focusing on his instincts. Dominus was the old and wisest of the clan yet they had chosen one of the young kids to lead the clan, he was furious of their decision and now he has been forced to teach this young kid how to fight using his instincts.
Dominus: “Stop!!! Follow me…”
Dominos quickly got down on all four as he looked up you could see faint resemblance to a wolf, his hands began looking like claws and his teeth grew to the extent of being as long and sharp as a wolfs, also enhancing his senses to the fullest as he moved through the rain and the muddy terrain with his young student, Thomas, thinking to himself.
Dominus: “Why did they chose him… why did I have to teach this kid… why am I here..”
As they both moved through the forest soaking wet and muddy around their arms and legs, the moon light shined down upon the forest and its surroundings revealing all the secrets of the forest just outside the city. The young teenager, Thomas, jumped up right beside Dominus showing his teeth as they stopped in a small clearing while the rain obscured their vision of each other, even when they were this close to each other.
Thomas: “Dominus… what are we doing out here… we should be back at the hideout with the others…”
Dominus: “Listen kid… I didn’t ask for you to be my student… but you are and sure as hell I’m going to teach you…”
Dominus looked at his student’s faint body structure as he moved slightly away from him into the forest, as Thomas just stood there completely out of his mind, wondering why Dominus had brought him out here into this clearing. While Dominus was one of the most talented wolfs there was in the clan, he silently moved around inside the forest using his enhanced senses to move up a few meters behind Thomas before jumping into the air attacking Thomas.
Thomas: “Dominus… what is this…”
Dominus: “I’m going to kill you right here!!!”
That is what he said when he came down from the rain with his entire body, sending his claw like hand smashing into Thomas crossed arms blocking his strike, as Thomas quickly used his feet to hold his ground, digging deep into the mud, as he push upwards with both his arms followed by a frontal punch ripping Dominus shirt, revealing blood as he sideswiped his legs making Dominus smash right into the mud.
Dominus: “He is getting stronger by the minute… he is beginning to use his senses…”
Dominus slowly stood back up looking almost like a zombie with the characteristics of a wolf. As he dashed forward at his student jump with both arms held towards him with open palms, while Thomas grabbed both arms as he was pushed into the ground while Dominus full body weight landed straight on top of him, before Dominus quickly rolled forward still holding on to Thomas, using his strength to throw Thomas into the air in front of him before delivering a roundhouse kick smashing him into a tree.
Thomas: “Dominus…. You’re really trying to kill me…”
Dominus: “Of course I am you idiot!!!”
Thomas did not understand why his own teacher was trying to kill him, but he knew in that instant that he was not trying to fool him and was in fact trying to kill him, and from that Thomas got so furious he began to cry and he screamed out before running towards Dominus with all his might. Thomas jumped towards him trying to strike him down with a powerful guillotine drop, though Dominus let it hit his shoulder, he used his hand to hinder him from striking with full force, before he grabs Thomas leg and twists it around kicking him in the knee cap, breaking his leg, while throwing him away into the mud.
Dominus: “You have got to do better… you little prick!!!”
Thomas slowly got up leaning on his healthy leg almost screaming in pain when he barely moves his legs, Dominus was an expert in using an enemy’s weakness to his advantage and quickly saw through Thomas handicap, and he dashed in towards him to deliver an uppercut, though Thomas saw right through his intentions and made an impressive backflip using his broken leg to smash right into Dominus chin sending him back smashing his head right into a tree.
Dominus just looked at his student as he got back up and spat out a few teeth and wiping off some blood before going on a rampage, first sending a sideswipe under his legs, forcing Thomas into the air before getting up using a giant stick on the ground hitting Thomas in the stomach, making the stick go right through his skin, though Thomas grabbed the stick before it went in too deep, pulled it out while using his momentum to force the stick out of Dominus hand while still in midair, before landing on one leg throwing the stick with enough force to impale Dominus shoulder leaving his right arm broken.
Dominus: “I taught you too well…”
Thomas: “Indeed you did… now I’m going to finish this…”
Dominus: “You don’t have the guts!!!”
Thomas jumped forward with his last energy smashing his claw like fist right into the chest of a weak Dominus, who had no more power to resist his student, before his fist impaled his chest with such force that his was again smashed into the tree behind him, while his student was looking straight into the ground with his hair falling down covering his eyes.
The rain had stopped, the sky was clearing as Dominus was taking his last breaths while looking at his student with a smile, feeling his blood running out of his body, his feet going numb and the feeling that his soul was about to leave his body.
Dominus: “Congratulations... you have surpassed your teacher like I surpassed mine…”
Thomas looked stunned at his teacher as he heard those words coming out of his mouth, when he knew he only had a few moments left before he would fall down to the ground.
Thomas: “WHAT!!! Is this what it was all about!!”
Thomas began feeling tears running down his cheeks, while he looked down into the mud, feeling his hair soaking wet, sticking to his skin, while all the feelings and memories of the past with his teacher began showing up in his mind, as his teacher could hear him cry.
Thomas: “Why…”
Dominus: “It was the only way I could make you a man…”
Thomas: “Yo… you forced me to kill you….”
Dominus: “Yes and I am sorry… I had to force you… to go through all this… promise me you will take care of your clan…”
As Dominus body fell down onto the ground so did Thomas, looking at his teacher with tears in his eyes as he looked up at Thomas with a smile knowing and believing that his student will become the greatest warrior of the clan when he grows up. As Dominus drew his final breath you could hear the wolfs howl throughout the forest crying for the sake of the death of Dominus.
