Well basically rain release is the use of both the wind and water elements to create and manipulate rain. You can either create the rain from clouds or you can manipulate already existing rain in places such as Ame or kiri (if It's raining). Rain basically has the same weaknesses as water and the same strengths, It's just used in a different manner. It's weak against earth, strong against fire, and equal to wind I think... It also makes it hard to use lightning if using rain because you could end up shocking yourself, unless somehow the rain isn't getting you wet.. I think that's all I know. Lol. What else should I know Mr. Koas?

In our Rp the rain element is composed of water and wind. When it comes to rain techniques the rain must be pre existent and then the user will manipulate it depending on the jutsu. It shares the same S & W of water, being weak against earth while strong against fire. In the manga/anime rain is commonly used by ninjas of Amegakure, a village that constantly rains.

Now that we got the template out of the way, let's begin! Rain is very simple and straightforward. It's a form of water releasing controlled through the medium of falling water droplets, or rain lol. As we're in Ame, or you are anyway, it's already raining so we'll be able to utilize said rain.

(Ame Tama no Jutsu) - Rain Bullet Technique

As the rain falls in Amegakure, I channel my chakra into my right hand allowing me to gather the rain towards my palm as I manipulate all of the drops into a high pressured orb. I then throw the orb towards a civilian passing by, knocking me backwards bcz of the jutsu's force, sending the poor civilian blasting off like team rocket.

As the rain still pours down, soaking Madara, Zanda and I, I seep a moderate amount of my chakra into the rain that is falling from the clouds. Once I do that, I mold the rain drops all around (excluding a five meter radius around me) to take on an adhesive like property that's similar to thick glue. The rain simply sticks to the surroundings and you two, forcefully restricting your movements due to the sticky substances holding your body in its current position. All the while, I pull out an umbrella so I won't be soaked any further.

Welp, a simple yet affective strategy could be using a basic element from.below while the rain comes down so the opponent would either have to accept getting caught from below/above, or find a way to counter both together. Basically putting them in a sticky situation..

Well, when this was used against me I used a custom wind armor that keeps things from close range of me, thus successfully pushing all rain away.. I'm not too sure of many ways to counter this, and not metagame or something.

How much control would we have over the rain's area of affect? Like, can I make it where the sticky rain is only on a single point on the field (like 3 meter radius around my opponent), or even make it where it covers a whole mid range radius around me, including where I'm at?

After receiving the instructions I channel my chakra into the rain above Sensei Madara, changing its compounds so the rain has a stickier glue like composition. The rain binds him together as I reach into my pouch grabbing a kunai before throwing it at his head.

• Nice surprise jutsu to use on opponent
• requires no hand seals so it can be performed unnoticed
• Jutsu has great range making it good against multiple opponents

Weak points

• Low rank so jutsu can be destroyed easily
• If used in close range then move can backfire

I would use this tech when my opponent summons a summon.
this technique would become bothersome for both candidates as they try to counter.

Ways to counter this technique
I would use a B ranked fire jutsu aimed towards the sky as I start to feel the stickiness of the rain. The fire jutsu should be enough to evaporate that rain cloud.

Similar to the jutsu you just used, this one bends the rain around you, to cause it to appear as if you have disappeared within the rain. In all actuality, you are simply 'transformed' into rain, hiding within it. If you move too fast, you can be spotted however. Too fast would be speeds above walking imo

• Clone is weak and destroyed after one hit

Combinations-strategies
I would use this jutsu after throwing a smoke bomb within close range making the clone appear behind my opponent so they can think they are surrounded by real clones leaving them open for an attack as they try to kill two birds with one stone.

The user can just use an omnidirectional close range move hitting two targets at once

A but useful, you compress the rain to form a spear. It lasts three turns until you cause it to strike the for. They have next to no warnings beforehand, other than the pause in rain when it is being formed and of course a spear of water being made lol

Being a beast I gather an abundance of rain drops in the clouds to converge upon one another and form a condensed spear of water which floats up there for a while. As the spear is being created a slight pause in the rain is made, thus signalling something happening, but who knows what? Unless metagaming. >.> I wait two turns, do a hand seal and let the spear drop on Zanda's big ass head. u_u
