I think if it was kisame that was introduced in the series before zabuza yeah kisame would have been the one to die and zabuza would have ended up being some uber ninja if he was introduce fighting when kisame was

haha NO, Kakashi hadn't developed the MS yet, also using the sharingan in battle had much greater affects on his chakra then, and kakashi hasn't actually got that much chakra to begin with, so with samehada eating it, kakashi is boned, which leaves naruto, sasuke and sakura, all at the age of like 12, and the only element sasuke knew was fire, against a water guy, naruto could realease the ninetails i suppose, but then Kisame would just run or something, as much as i love zabuza, kisame is the stronger of the two

How does it come Kakashi with small help of 3 genins (Naruto was weak at that time) (Sasuke got his sharingan in the second battle with Haku) And Sakura total useless. Defeated Zabuza?

Imagine Kisame in Zabuza Situation,

A battle near a lake.

Kisame would use Great Water Style tec and Simply drown kakashi, fuse with samehada so far ( like when Kisame Battled Killer bee). Kakashi can use Raikiri but not all the time, Stamina wise and chakra wise, Kisame > Kakashi 2

Dont forget that he constanly uses Water clones aswell and has brutaly raw power.

In that time, Kakashi didn't have the MS 2.

Just Explain, How do you think Zabuza would win Kisame in a battle 1v1 when he lost vs Kakashi..
