Zabuza was very powerful, not Madara nagato or itachi, but still powerful. The reason he didn't was Madara was causing the corruption in land of waves, he would directly be working under who he wanted to overthrow. Remember zabuza was ambitious not bitter at the world. Don't forget that.

There is no such thing as true immortality in the Naruto world. Kakuza states this blatantly:

He works with Hidan so he wouldn't have said true immortality doesn't exist if it didn't also apply to Hidan. Which in turn would mean Hidan is not a true immortal.

I don't have a link, but if I'm not mistaken I believe it says in one of the databooks that Hidan can died from lack of nutrients. Would appreciate it if someone could corroborate this with me.

In terms of in-battle then I guess this doesn't really factor into it all that much but I just wanted to clarify.

Zabuza wouldn't get in regardless of how strong he is, what gets you in is having unique ability that compliments another member in a team. Example: Hidan is sh*t by himself and would probably lose to Zabuza, but he compliments Kakuzu because of his immortality.

Hidan is there because he has a one hit kill move....I'm pretty sure that's how they were able to capture the Two-Tails....but yes Kakuzu compliments him because he can put him back together if he lost any limbs during the battle.

I agree that a unique ability is needed, but it also depends on how strong you are. For example majority of strong characters have unique abilities anyway U_U

Speaking of mist swordsman, Mangetsu would probably make a good akatsuki member if he wanted. He mastered all 7 swords, has water transformation(making him really hard to kill), and he was able to kill a bunch of shinobi with his bare hands. Shame we never got to see him, he seems like such a badass.

Who would he have replace, He cant even replace Hidan. Zabuza has nothing special like the others. All Akastuki members are monsters, there not human. Nether Zabuza or Haku could replace any of them

um no. hes very very powerful. he outsmarted and fought on par with kakashi, a top rank jounin, twice. plus hes a master of killing just by sound alone.

how are they overrated? and how are they weak? they died early in life, you realise that right. they could have gotten way better if they lived.

haku was naruto's age when he kicked both sasuke and naruto's asses while not even trying. if he lived, hed have become insanely strong.
