Shikamaru is perhaps the most intelligent ninja (aside from his father) in the NarutoVerse. Also, he did not kill him. He dismembered him, and buried all of the body parts. Hidan is still alive, just trapped and guarded in the Nara Forest.

Shikumaru got him because he is a genius and had to set up a trap in advance. Zabuza doesnt have the time to do that. One on one Hidan wins. Zabuza cant evade from all of Hidans's attacks a drop of blood and Zabuza is sleeping with the fishes

I dont think Zabuza would sit there like "wow". Zabuza would get scratched, right, and would probably lick his own blood, then proceed in chopping of Hidan's head like Asuma did.

Zabuza's no slouch. It took team seven to handle him (Main characters). PLus they only reason Kakashi won, was because he had an Sharingan, and copied his technique, then used his technique, before Zabuza could even use it.

That being said he is still exceptionally powerful in his own right.

Zabuza might be able to take down hidan, and thats a big maybe, but that is definitely it. I wouldn't want him to be in the akatsuki because essentially he is a kisame jr.

And where does it say that? As far as we know, he is alive. In regards to Kabuto's edo summonings, Hidan is not among them. So it may be safe to assume that Hidan is still somewhat alive.

Dosent matter of they we're Genin. their the MAIN CHARACTERS. THEY WAS NOT GONNA DIE. Team seven WAS gonna win either way. Even if he was going against pain, he wouldve won somehow.

That Sharingan is not even his so taking that away will only make him the Kakashi he once was.

And Hidan dosent do it rapidly. Watch it again. It took him forever to draw the symbol. Then he started talking mess, then he stabbed himself, which didn't even kill asuma instantly, so his enemy will still have time to decapitate him. And Zabuza was somewhat skillfull with that blade. Thats why he's one of the hidden swordsman of the Mist. But tell me how would Hidan do when he's trapped in a Hidden mist Jutsu? He has no partners to protect every angle, He has no Sharingan to aide in insight, What will he do? Other than look like a dumbass, and get his head chopped off a few seconds later
