Raiton: (Kami no dorei) — Lightning Release: Servants of the Divine
Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defense
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 40 ( 5 additional Cp for every turn sustained)
Damage Points: (5-80)
Description: The user will gather a large amount of Lightning Chakra and perform 3 hand seals. The user will then release the chakra, manipulating it to create a creature or creatures composed of extremely focused lightning. These "servants" take on the appearance of small, yellow, cylindrical, creatures with either one or two eyes. The lightning composing their bodies is extremely focused, that it makes little to no sound. These servants require constant chakra and control to stay on the field. The technique revolves around affecting the servants in 3 specific ways. Their first way is through their ability of complete mastery of shape manipulation, allowing the user to freely manipulate their focused body, or parts of it, into any form they desire. For example, the user can manipulate a servants arm to become a spear of lightning, form both arms into a shield of sorts for both offensive and defensive purposes, etc. The second ability comes in two forms. The first form involves reverting the focused electrical bodies of the servant(s) into an unfocused electrical current, similar to a Chidori Nagashi. The other form is simply causing their body to explode into an electrical explosion. However, servants that are self-destructed in anyway are completely lost afterwards.The final ability allows the user to have the servant(s) passively split and combine following basic Rank Splitting principals (e.g. 1 S-Rank Servant can divide into 4 B-Rank Servant & 4 B-Rank Servant can combine into 1 S-Rank Servant.) A user is capable of forming 1 S-Rank Servant or several lower-rank Servant from the beginning. In the event that a Servant is destroyed, the Rank of the existing Servant do not change (e.g. 4 B-Rank Servant are out on the field, one is destroyed and 3 remain, the 3 remaining B-Rank Servant stay B-Rank). Also due to how focused/concentrated the lightning is, it does not get conducted by liquids such as water.

Note: Self destructing count as an additional a move
Note: The rank of each attack or defense of a servant correlates to the specific rank of the servant
Note: The size of each servant is dependent on the rank
Note: Shape Manipulation is limited to the Servants bodies. As such, they cannot release projectile attacks
Note: The Servants last a maximum of 4 turns
Note: Can be used 2 times per battle
Note: No S-rank lightning in the same or next turn.
Note: Can only be taught by Yusei

Questions

Are there appearances in lightning form or they look normal albeit they are made of lightning?
Are they sentient?
If they turn unfocussed, do they still keep their shape and form? or perhaps if they don't, can they reform back after turning unfocussed?
How large is the explosion?
If I manipulate a minion's hand to form a spear, how long can they reach?

I'm guessing you mean a lightning creature or a creature made of lightning like a clone. Appearance wise they do indeed look like they are made out of lightning.

No, turning to unfocused electricity would cause them to lose form and essentially just become a surge of electricity like a chidori nagashi. Currently they can not reform after turning unfocused as they are lost afterwards. Due to the technique being set up in a way where transforming to an unfocused surge or an electrical explosion is considered self destruction, and causes the self destructed servant to be lost afterwards. (This is subject to change, well the unfocused part as I plan on making a slight edit to the update this cycle)

The explosion in terms of size would pertain to the size/strength of the minion. So logically one S-rank minion exploding would cover a much larger area then that of a Brank.

Actually at the moment that part is kind of broken. Their is no real range/ limit specified in regards to the extension. Thus I plan to update that as well to that of Mid-range. So Mid-range will be the range set as of now.

I had asked you to preform the technique. It wasn't really to see if you were able to preform it correctly or not, as I'm sure you would. The reason was to gauge your creativity in using the technique. The techniques greatest strength is that of the shape manipulation, the spear and shield were simply examples. The user can reshape a servants entire being. For example I personally used the technique to create 2 servants and had one transform into a lion and the other transform into a gorilla with scissors for hands.

Edit: Sorry I missed one. No they are not sentient.

I could use the servants to engage in close combats and then become unfocused or explode. Also I could have an animal swallow aa water projectile from the opponent and spit it back as electrified water. I could make one of the servant touch me a little to zap me back into reality whenever I am put in an illusion. etc, etc...

Eh it was never specified if you could or couldn't, so in the update I edited it. (its a pretty hefty update lol) But I would say yes you can along as the technique is basic Chakra or lightning and not another streaming tech as it would interfere with the control

First use was great, get close enough and just destruct. Destructions are also great if you have some form of sensory able to see chakra in the ground you can destruct a servant into a nagashi to counter the chakra in the ground (of course what it negates is proportional to the amount of power that individual servant has.). Eh the second use cant be done sadly its a creative idea but the servants are of an extremely focused nature so they wouldn't conduct liquids. Meaning the "special" relationship between the 2 elements just becomes a normal one with the stronger rank winning. You last use was somewhat right and somewhat wrong. As I mentioned the Servants are of a very focused form thus they dont shock normally. In their basic form you can have one pierce you, or have them become a nagashi and shock you (which would be a very nice combo to use with recycle once the update gets approved hopefully). But as for creativity you certainly have that down pat. Just some final things I want to point out due to the focused nature the minions in their basic form make little to no sound unlike most lightning techniques.

Ok so pretty simple the user claps his hands while focusing his raiton chakra, in doing so releases a large omnidirectional electromagnetic pulse that shuts off or disables all existing lightning on the field. Sorry I couldn't be more descriptive xD

I have 2 questions pertaining to the technique

- Its Srank does that mean it disperses/cancels up to srank power in lightning. Or does that mean all techniques srank and below on the field of a lightning nature are dispersed ..... please tell me its the second one ;-;

- Being that magnetism is just refined lightning, this would work on magnetism techniques as well correct?

Also just making sure, this applies to the users techniques as well?
