Yugioh help

So i need help, (as the title suggest) anyway so me and my friends all play yugioh and they all insist on only using broken cards and decks which takes the fun out of casual play in my opinion. Winning is impossible with these guys i literally just played 9 games in a row and lost...9. I was using a synchro deck and he was using blackwing's with their OP support and effects (IMO)

i have a thing about using OP decks and broken cards because it's no fun for casual play so what can i do to keep up?
(Clearly the obvious answer is to use broken crap but if i can i'd like to avoid that)

please no negativity im just asking a question.

Are the forbbiden cards allowed?

If yes build Exodia Library or Final Countdown. You could also go for prime Inzektors or Dragon Rulers as they work really good vs BW.

If no use Infernoids or Igknights. Also ShaddolHero and Qlis if theyre not so good.

After beating them a lot explain how the game is the strongest when played for fun as competetive scene is just 5 decks that take the fun out of everything.

YGOs strongest point lies in the versatility and dynamical gameplay the vast variety of fun decks have to offer. Bring them closer to the fun aspect and Im sure they will like it.

There are many decks that can beat Blackwings. I am pretty sure with the help of Raidraptors and DDD's deck, you can can beat them. Try to make a deck that counter his summonings.

Well, Pendulum would be the easiest way to go, but since you don't want that.

Masked Heroes are pretty f***ing good. Like really. Do a Masked Hero deck and add the cards 'Ice Hand' and 'Fire Hand' to it and you're good.

Thanks for all the help guys I really like this response i wish I could get them to see the fun of it and stop just trying to destroy me. It makes me a little depressed I love this game and i cant play if I'm losing all the time. I will try some of these suggestions.
