Since your focus is on the third eye, I would presume that you sink to the bottom of the water since the ground is gone but my portal still remains. Now, Id like to see you get through something thats not a genjutsu. *throws up picture of blind with a sword through his heart* If you see the arc, theres a pic of kurenai like this, and in the beginning, yakumo has the hokages buildfing and draws a lgihtning bolt and it strikes it in the real area, so its perfectly real, no genjutsu. sorry bro but I have something to say about this statement. Not all Genjutsu's require the user to have eye contact with the person. As long as either A.) your visible to them or B.) they know your certain location they can use genjutsu's

Because not all Genjutsu's are visual techniques, some are hearing techniques
