Here's the thing with graphics. We all have to start somewhere when it comes to graphics, and that it's only through perseverance that we get better. This is aimed to be a discussion about your first piece using some sort of a professional graphics program (Photoshop, Gimp, Paint.Net etc) and just compare to what you're doing now, just as a laugh, or even a good reflection on how far you've come when it comes to graphics.

This was my first piece.

Wow, you guys really improved like 1000000000000000 times better for most of you.

A suggestion: Why don't you post some of your recent works along with it so that we see the monumental difference between both works.

I think this should be stickied as it gives a moral to newbies GFXer to keep persevering as all greats started with (without offense) crappy works. If you all edit it with one of your recent sigs, they'll see also the heights that can be reached and even more reached as long as they keep trying.
