Sakura for personal reasons (we are exactly alike) but for liking a character in general, it would be Kakashi.

Uchiha Sasuke - boss, love his back story and personality. Suffered a lot as a kid watchin his family get killed by his bro. Afta dat he gets up, sets a goal and remained steadfast in achieving it, that inspired me a lot. He is the best written character in the show imo, the best uchiha by a long mile too imo.

Rock lee= His determination and what his character represents
Kisame Hoshigake= Due to his raw power and quite interesting story
Gaara= Because he shows that regardless you can always turn your life round and that kinda shit

rock lee - he's a hard worker, ambitious and has a likeable personality w/ great skill

jiraiya - didn't give up, strived for peace, fun and lovable chara overall

naruto - he's compassionate, doesn't abandon his dreams and is a lovable idiot

ino - also compassionate and kind

gaara - he's compassionate, perceptive and he overcame his loneliness and turned his life around

hinata and choji - both are kind, loyal and though they lack confidence they don't give up

haku, kimimaro and itachi - they sacrificed everything to protect the ones they love

kakashi - he endures hardship, cares for his comrades, has a great design *_*

i have more but i'd take all day listing them, so many charas in NV :yeah:

Tsunade - i like her design, her though persona, her abilities, her strenght of spirit and her sad past.

Jiraiya - i like his comedic and goofy persona, his abilities and his devotion towards those who he loves.

Orochimaru - i like his twisted personality, design and abilities.

Sasori - i like his sad past, his tormented personality, his relationship with his grandmother, his design and his abilities.

Hiruzen - i like his caring personality, his design and his abilities.

Danzo - i like his narcissistic personality, design and abilities.

Onoki - i like his stubborn personality, his design and abilites.

Sakura - i like her personality, design, abilities and i can relate to her desire of "wanting to show others her back".

Madara - Mastermind and manipulator, brings so much fun, and has a sad background along with complex mindset. Greatest villain.
Kakashi - His determination to protect his friends, lazy attitude, regretful past, and closest ninja design.
Killer Bee - Rapping guy, funny, and enjoyable to watch.

Kakashi Hatake! I like change of attitude and lately these fillers (although I take them as canon) have been really going into detail about his life. What I love the most though is his flaws which makes him relatable. Honourable mention is Obito. I have a thing for fallen heros

Akamaru is the boss of Shippuden of course w/o Kiba
