Androids saga....17 and 18 were so badass and future Trunks was even more badass. A lot of character development in that part as well. It was still good when the focus shifted to Cell but I still say Androids is my favorite

In the buu saga you where a loser if you didnt know ssj3 (exept gohan)

Vegeta played absolutely no part in the buusaga (exept for the fusion)

Android Saga. Future Trunks is one of the coolest people ever the way he fodderized Frieza and King Cold. SSJ2 11 years old Gohan is one of the most popular characters in all of Dragonball and I can see why. I loved the whole time travel concept. Cell was a pretty good villain - the combined powers of Frieza, King Cold, Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo. The fights were epic! Piccolo vs 17, Gohan vs Cell, Goku vs Cell, Vegeta vs Cell, Trunks vs Frieza ect ect. It also gave everybody some character development or at least some time to shine (besides Krillin and Yamcha): Piccolo fusing with Kami was really hyped up in the Frieza Saga when Nail talks about Kamiccolo, Vegeta soften up (overstatement but whatever) and has a kid who he finally shows he cares for when Cell kills him, Gohan unleashed a lot of his potential and Goku wasn't relied on (as he was in EVERY other saga) as much.
