Cayucas (they're relatively new, but still really good)

But honestly, I used to listen to Rock when I was in the 4th Grade playing WWE Games. I used to listen to Linkin Park, Green Day, Papa Roach, 3 Days, and a tiny bit of Finger 11. And a lot of skillet. You guys listen to that Heavy Metal shit. Really like Black Tape for a Blue Girl, The Black Heart Procession, Built to Spill, Dead Can Dance, Dirty Three, Morphine, Tortoise, My Bloody Valentine, The Replacements, Popol Vuh, Spring Heel Jack, Swans, Lycia and The Velvet Underground etc ... honestly too many to name.

For indie rock The National's High Violet is a great album. Also maybe try bands like Broken Social Scene, Red House Painters, Beach House, Belle and Sebastian, Ida Maria and Pavement just to name a few.

Face paint? What? The only bands I know that use face paint are Black Veil Brides and KISS, and Black Veil Brides does it because KISS was their inspiration I think.
