Kakashi wins this. He has more battle experience and doesn't rely fully on the sharingan. It's just a bonus. I'm sure he is more powerful then sasuke at the time too.

Naruto is only a genin because he was out of the village for nearly three years and didn't get a chance to take the chunin exam.His skill on the otherhand even when he just return to the village was chunin level at the least, like everyone else in his class (Shikimaru,Sakura,Ino,Choji,etc).Naruto then acheived a level above that of a jonin after he master Sage Mode.This is obvious to anyone who can comprehend, bringing up Naruto rank as a genin in conparison to young sasuke being a genin vs young kakashi is stupid beyond belief.Sasuke skill level when he was young was only at genin level with some chunin level jutsus.Kakashi on the otherhand was a jonin, with jonin level skills at an age when sasuke was an academy student.
