You forget that kid kakashi w/o his sharingan has a slow chidori, so I don't think he will be surprising obito, plus obito also has sharingan so predicting movements are increased, to make it even worst there is no where to hide so clones now have no element of surprise. Kakashi at this time only had lightning as his is a kid, thus him not being able to mimic elements and jutsu (only has lightning relese). If sharingan was increasing the speed of kakashis chidori its safe to say it will heighten the speed of obitos firestyle or increase the power.

Yes kakashi is jounin and yes obito is at a lower rank, but rank in this fight don't mean squat as I have explain how he would win

How will it not prove effective? The durability of a shadow clone isn't that much, especially since all they are, are fractions of the users charkra, kakashis charkra now isn't anything to brag about do putting Into contrast to kid kakashi his chidori limit is at best 2, 3 clones and lower reflexes.

I knew someone would bring this up however comparing lees speed to kid kakashis are unfair since kid lees speed was much greater than kakashis at the time. Its a manga fact that sharingan help to predict taijutsu and hand seals, and like I said since its an open field clones will only help him to a certain extent, uchihas have been known for their hight reserves of chrakra this woulld apply to obito

Sharingan does not improve speed or power of techs. Kakashi's chidori speed was the same, he just could better control his own speed and movements due to enhanced vision.

Can you show me a scan suggesting that it does alter his speed? if i remember correctly it made his chidori more faster and even if your statement is true, he needs the sharingan either way to make his chidori better

With 1t Sasuke was able to hit a speedster like Haku with fireball. Obito will be able to hit Kakashi with fireball again and again. Meanwhile with Kakashi, he wont be able to hit Obito with Chidori because of the Sharingan's predictive abilities. Obito wins, low diff.
