You think the truth requires any pandering

In general sense for someone to accept certain truths it's clear evidence and reason not enough do you think element of pandering is needed in conveying certain truths where you relate to what that group cares about let say global warming for example what do you think is needed for people to accept it and treat it seriously?

while corporations literally dump hundreds of millions to lobby for the denial/understating of climate change, people somehow find a way to think that it's scientists who're making bank through the "lie" of man made climate change. Never mind the fact that it's politicians who make bank by denying it. I think the only pandering needed is for the words to be said from a trusted mouth, such as from our politicians(paradoxically), rather than something as vague and intangible as "scientists." Trust just goes a longer way, and there's nothing wrong with that. Why trust those who you view as untrustworthy?
