At first, I thought he was just overall talking to Naruto. Because:

However, at NF, someone's comment got me thinking. The discussion starts off like this:

Then after viewing both Naruto, and Bolt (with the Byakugan), he states this:

But here's where I'm confused. Why would Momoshiki be referring to Naruto's fate, when he:

I.

before (Boruto was here too, but obviously the target was Naruto aka focus).

II. Held Naruto captive for hours and basically had him under his care. The only person he didn't actually take notice of or cared about, was Bolt, until he found out he was Naruto's offspring.

The last 'implication' of this goes back to what I was showing you earlier. After Momoshiki states

, the next panel goes towards Boruto alone.

This is all speculative by the way, no theories beyond who he was talking to.

He actually finished his statement. The interesting fate that he was referring is that Naruto has nobody that he can pass his power onto. I guess he was saying that Boruto isn't strong enough to gain naruto's power.

From my understanding, momo saw something unique in bolt and then asked if Naruto and him were related and then told how sad it was for Naruto not to be able to pass his power down to bolt.


Then again the interesting fate thing could just be a continuation of the fox... bubble lel

He was talking to Naruto. Boruto was intrigued about the meaning of Momo words. I don't think there is anything highly subjective here. The panels are pretty straight forward.

1) If Naruto passes the fox he will die.
2) Isn't a seal needed in order to pass/seal Kurama ?
Was this knowledge passed down to Naruto ? Or it got lost with Minato ?
3) Is Kurama so attached to Naruto (By Hagoromo "order"?) that it can't be extracted which could explain why Momoshiki wasn't able to do it ?

I'm not 100% sure if anyone can see Indra/Ashura in Naruto or Sasuke respectfully other than Hagoromo. No one else has until he met them, but it was sort of dropped on us last minute.

I don't think anything in that scenario was highly subjective or straightforward given the context of the scene itself.

It's a stretch to claim which is what.

I don't know, but it's interesting. Maybe it does have some reference to the tattoos that Boruto had in the first chapter. Maybe there's a hidden chakra in him that is waiting to manifest, plus, you have the face that Bolt had the Byakugan in one eye.

Yep, even during the time when Sasuke was attacking the Kage Summit, Obito told Naruto and the others the history of how Indra/Ashura were destined to continue to fight.

He was referring Boruto in regards to fate which is why boruto was emphasized after , then the attension was switched to Naruto the Fox. The writer made sure to change Momo's transformation for a reason and his appearance specifically the dark area's around his skin look exactly akin to Boruto's Dark Tatoo's in the future + both of their Byakugan being Veinless for further emphasis.

I really wish the tattoo part would be true tbh, but I have this strange feeling that since Kawaki also has one, it might not be due to his genetics. Cause if so, then that would mean Kawaki is a genetic hybrid too.

Which isn't directly impossible given the whole theories of him being genetically related to both Naruto and Sasuke. ANYWAY - If that doesn't ring true, it's possible that the tattoos are something created, whether seals or technology enforced.

What it might foreshadow is a power inside of him, whether that dojutsu will be special or not, or if that drawing Kishimoto made of him having a double byakugan chakra form. Who knows really.

Thanks man and yea its a simple writing technique used to convey emphasis so it should be clear if ur reading Manga properly. I have a feeling those scientist who came along with the Team are gonna have further emphasis in the coming chapters and future events heavily around Boruto especially since their creations were referenced to being similar to Momo's ability.

My wild theory is that a body part belonging to Momo will be secretly recovered and studied in order to advance the technology which will likely turn out deadly to everyone apart from Boruto and Tawaki. Considering Gaiden and its emphasis on DNA and link to this series its likely that all of this will connect in the continuity.

-Im also curious about the relation between between Momo and Kin because correlating perspective with the dialog he gave Boruto could indicate that Kin was his pops and that the method they used to pass on power is a long standing Otsuki tradition. That or Kinshi was simply a close relative who had a role similar to the Hyuga's side Branch.

He was talking to Sasuke and he was talking about Sarada. He has 360 vision and used his dojutsu to see inside Sasuke's memories, noticed Sarada and then recognized that she was something special. A Haruno/Uchiha hybrid is something to fear and admire, after all.
