Well there isnt any proof saying that Obito cant be Tobi. :|

but there's plenty of reasons why he can be.

#1 His technique were he can open dimension's is very similar to Kakashi's MS technique. Just with A little modification's.

#2 Obito's right side was crushed. Tobi's arm was made of Zetsu. Zetsu was from the rock country. Obito had supposedly in the rock country. Makes sense right? Zetsu could have healed him.

#3 Tobi. Obito Obito tobi Very similar indeed. :|

#4 Tobi has the same hair as Obito. That's why his hair isnt long like Madara's.

#5 Obito said those who dont help their friends are worse then scum, i'll change that aspect of the ninja world. With the moon's eye plan he could easily change the way the ninja world is. Like he want's it.

I could go on but those are some of the main reason's...

True there is no proof but why would Obito start a war with the 5 nations
Just because his sharrigan does the same abilities as Kakashi does not mean it's Obito think about it out of all the Uchiha there are some that are going to have the same eye abilities and I might be wrong but he is not even using his sharrigan to do the dimension world thing I thought it was a time and space jutsu.

Obito's right side was crushed yes your right there so why would it show him dying not to mention the overkill of hundreds of more rocks fall on him.

Just because Obito is almost an anagram to Tobi meas nothing it's like saying Naruto sounds like Nagato they must be the same person.

Hair really? ok lee must be guy (joke) there is a similar hair style between Tobi and Obito but if you were over a hundred years old you would definatley have long hair also it shows Madara talking to Kisame recruiting him into Akatsuki and he had long hair.

So he is helping his friends by going to war with them that makes sense also how is Obito gonig to control and supress the ten tails as it has never been said he has a large chakra reserve also the nine tails says he has met Uchiha Madara before the incident 16 years ago was most likely his doing as well as the nine tails mentioned no over person.
I also have many more reasons why Obito is not Tobi but I am getting tired of typing I believe Tobi to be no other than Madara.........O.OO.O

really good theory. maybe he is young during the nine-tails attack cuz of hashiramas cells, but old during the talk with sasuke cuz they have started to wear off. i think hes like oro, in order for zetsu to keep sustaining him, he needs a body, but obito is too crushed, so now he wants sasuke. maybe we should be like zetsu and keep him as tobi for now
