I hate Itachi.

Seriously can't stand him.

Maybe not that dramatic; but he's no longer even in my top 10 favorites.

As my namesake suggests, I was a fan at one point. But that was back when I first joined, and all I had was Part 1 knowledge.

Not just as a character, either. I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but I wouldn't even put Itachi in my top 10. I would also put Minato (and in most cases, Orochimaru) over Itachi.

I just wanted to say this so people quit labeling me as an Itachi fanboy. Whenever someone calls me that, I will refer them to this thread. Thank you.

On a side note, what are YOUR opinions of Itachi, character wise and battle wise?

I like him a lot, he has a good point of view and goals, never get stressed, strong, not naive, wise, cool

I like him - a bit. The thing that made me like him in Part 1 was his cruelty. He killed the clan. Why? Because he can. That is just beyond evil. In Part 2 when we found out he was good then I was cool with the Dark Hero idea.

But these are the two things I don't like - how perfect he is.. Honestly, perfectly moralled, extremely powerful, hyped by every notable character in the manga etc. It just makes me mad how Kishi potrays him. Second, his fans are annoying as flippers.

Though I can't see how you can put Orochimaru above him despite the latter admitting inferiority to him, unless we are talking Edo Tensei here.

I like itachi .. i think he is quite the Enigma ... i wish Kishi had been more creative on itachi's true goals however....

Honestly if Kishi would of made itachi sort of a neutral character ( not afraid to kill, But not evil) .. Like sesshomaru ( from the inuyasha series) He would of been amazingly bad ass
