I can't stand him either. Before the reveal of him being some super spy and good guy in disguise, I enjoyed his character. He's annoyingly powerful due to his amazing ability to pull new moves from his ass. . God Izanami makes me mad.

I only have a hard time liking Itachi due to fanboys. However, he's still one of my favorites.

Although I believe he's way too overrated, I still believe he can defeat Minato(personal opinion)

Though I can't see how you can put Orochimaru above him despite the latter admitting inferiority to him, unless we are talking Edo Tensei here.

I liked Itachi as a villain. At some point, he seemed like the most badass villain in Naruto.

But then he became Severus Snape and it all went to sh!t.

Itachi wasn't friendzoned like Snape though.
