You need to realise that the description is use of hyperbole. The use of exaggeration in order to better describe something? Do you honestly believe amaterasu is as hot as the sun aswell?

In any case, it even says there that amaterasu reduces it to ash. It also says:

"The flames burn fairly slowly, sometimes allowing anyone struck by Amaterasu an opportunity to remove whatever clothing or body parts have been caught ablaze."

And did I not already say that Deva Path, with it's gravitational powers, could remove the flames?

When it comes down to it, amateratsu, sussanoo, and chidori aren't very useful against the preta path.

So basically, the only advantage Sasuke has is genjutsu, but that didn't seem to do Jiraiya too much good and Jiraiya's toad song genjutsu is one of the strongest out there.

No actually it's the other way around. Sasuke doesn't have the intel Naruto had (The paths' secret and Deva Path's interval), and even with the intel Pain could've won if his intent wasn't to capture Naruto, he clearly could've killed him when he pinned him down.

Sasuke doesn't stand a chance against Pain, the best he can do is give him some difficulty.

you have to remember though sasuke is a much smarter fighter then naruto. he had no intel on deidara but figured out what his weakness was and took advantage of that. same thing happened in the danzo fight. no one told him how izanagi worked. he tested a theroy he form and figured it out. the same thing would happen in the pain fight. he would figure out which one he needs to take out first and what each ones power is. im not saying that he would win but it would be closer then people think

as for deva if sasuke spamms arrows for about 30 secs he gone have his intervals and sasuke takes it right there and for ct amaterasu and arrows would do the trick and when was it said visual genjutsu doesnt work? animals would get controll or amaterasu sasuke got this with med to high due to the numbers of them

and if deva path try to pull him he can use ribcage im sure you cant get pulled out of that and amaterasu he cannot use universal pull and shira tenset at the same time
