You guys do realize the new novels are canon right? Why are there still non believers of this? Same thing with The Last. It is canon as well.
1.The people who say the novels are non-canon usually refer to the mention of Blood Prison. It's called "Self-Premotion," the author of the novels is the same one who made the story for Blood Prison, so it's just him trying to remind you of a movie most people thought was good. The point of these novels is to expand the story and glorify it, so naturally they will include a few non-canon mentions here and there, but that does NOT make the entire thing non-canon.
2.Kishimoto didnt even write the main manga alone! So how in the world do you justify the fact that another excuse is "No Kishimoto? No canon." When the arcs of Shippuden, especially the war arcs, were helped created entirely by another person: his main editor. If you continue to believe this one, then answer this: If what is here is not true, then why when people say the war arcs are bad, they instantly point the finger of "F*** You" to the editor and not Kishimoto???
3.If your going to release novels worth $10 or more and expect your fan base to read novels costing $50-$100 total and it not be canon!? You people do not understand marketing at all.
Edit: Sorry if this came off as mean. Didn't mean for it to turn out that way.
