I held the gun, closing my eyes,
I waited there as time went bye.
I was such a fool to think,
That you were mine to keep.
But I suppose it's okay,
I don't have to live like this another day.
I placed my hand on the trigger,
and my tears fell to the ground,
Kowing that you are no longer around.
I just hoped that you would think,
But as I thought about it my heart began to sink.
I looked up at the clock,
about ready to fire my glock.
I know I don't want to end it here,
But as I look around you are no where near.
I shake my head in sorrow and regret,
Hoping that I will forget.
I give one last smile as I shoot my head,
as I expected I am dead.
I just wish that you would have stopped me,
but then I remember, you forgot me.
I waited there as time went bye.
I was such a fool to think,
That you were mine to keep.
But I suppose it's okay,
I don't have to live like this another day.
I placed my hand on the trigger,
and my tears fell to the ground,
Kowing that you are no longer around.
I just hoped that you would think,
But as I thought about it my heart began to sink.
I looked up at the clock,
about ready to fire my glock.
I know I don't want to end it here,

Hoping that I will forget.
