You can't use Izanagi without Senju cells...

Edit: You also can't use Izanagi without losing sight in the eye with which you cast it
We already know, and it is 100% that Madara gave Nagato HIS eyes, not a set of spares, not just one, but BOTH of his eyes
Sick of people saying Madara used Izangi to survive because we know he only gets Senju cells post fight not before or during. Even if he got them during I doubt he'd be able to utilize them right away, the whole thing is preposterous

However, I will admit its a possibility he cast a genjutsu on Hashirama. But did anyone actually notice the way he stabbed Madara? For 1 thing it wasn't through the heart or anything so it wouldn't be a definite kill, and also the way he stabbed him from behind was a nice parallel about how Madara hated anyone being behind him like when he's peeing and Hashi stands behind him

Also in that link there's a mistake and it says Senji instead of Senju which I thought was funny

~Naruto&Itachi~ showed me that you actually don't need Senju cells to do Izanagi, they just make it last longer.
Having said this, I still believe 100% that Madara didn't use Izanagi because he gave both his eyes to Nagato

Ahh that's true, didn't think of that. But like, he had the opportunity to end it for sure and he didn't. Its just like with Kakashi only punching Obito in the stomach when he could've easily Raikiri'd him

I dunno the exact reason but I think it has something to do with Izanami being used to punish (not sure if thats the right word) those who used abused Izanagi

Obito has no reason to lie about how to obtain Izanagi.

Only two people so far was seen using Izanagi. Danzo and Obito. So what Obito said you can't refute.

Just because Izanami is a counter to Izanagi doesn't mean the methods to obtain them are the same.

-Izanagi is way more hack/useful in general then Izanami.

no....izanagi does not need senju cells...itachi clearly says that several uchiha used izanagi(the forbidden uchiha jutsu, not the uchiha and senju forbidden jutsu) and other uchiha used izanami as a punishment for using the forbidden technique. If that's the case there should be more guys with rinni.

Nope the translation is wrong it is suppose to be OR not AND.....to use izanagi you need to be descendent of SO6P and if you acquire the sharingan and senju DNA it improves it.....it makes it longer and no not any physical feature just the jutsu....got this from danzou vs sasuke I think

Well the two people we saw use Izanagi, Obito and Danzo did have Senju DNA and previous Uchiha members could easily get it from Senjus that were alive back then, its harder to come by now.

Yeah that could be possible, can you link me to one with the correct translation?
Also by saying descended from the Sage you're implying that Hashirama can use Izanagi

And I don't really think Senju DNA improves it, and even if it did isn't the point of Izanagi is used to take the favourable outcome of a situation? What I mean by this is in a life threatening situation when you're about to die to use Izanagi to not die
Pretty much what I'm trying to say is that you can use it at the last minute so making its duration last longer doesn't really matter
