I pick things I want to look at when I post. It's all about me, I'm extremely selfish.

I usually pick black and white avi's because I've always liked the dark&light/yin&yang thing. And even though I am a rockstar the avatars i pick of others are for inspiration, a lot are role models or people with artistic philosophies I agree with. I also usually pick realistic avatars because it's the opposite of what users usually have on a anime forum.

Ironically I have an animated avatar now, but that's a rarity for me.

I was looking for the word "content." People often say they're happy but content is more stable, more humble, more appreciative.

Because you can always be more happy (too many have blind ambition but no rest). And someone can always point out a reason why you should be sad (joy-jackers).

But if you can say "I am content with who I am" then you have reached a rock. A man or woman who is content is unmovable.

I think the world has some moving to do of its own though too. If there was more compassion.... then people could be content with who they are and not slip off into their avatars.

Well you know what they say... "it is not given to everyone to understand what it's really all about... so that's why we use parables"

I think if "YOU ARE NOT YOU'RE AVATAR" sinks in and registers with people then that alone will help
