A small pale hand slowly makes its way to a Dark grey alarm clock sitting on the night stand. The hand pushes the large button, stopping it before it can beep a third time. The hand then makes its way back to its original position.
A small, 5'5, petite teenage girl can be seen lying in the queen sized mattress. The girl's name is Sakura; she is a beautiful, smart, talented, 17 year old.
If you were to look at her form a distance you would see a sweet and innocent looking child. But inside she is nothing more than a broken shell of what used to be. How did she get that? Nobody knows only her oldest cousin and Uncle.
She stirred and then rolled to her left, looking at her alarm clock. Seeing that it was time to get ready, she sat up in her bed and threw the covers off her legs. Walking to her dresser, which sat to the right of her room, she pulled out a black strapless bra and some back under wear. Going two drawers down, grabbing a black, one shoulder shirt and a pair of white jean shorts that stopped about an inch above mid-thigh.
10 minutes later...
Stepping out of the shower Sakura grabs a towel and wraps it around her. Before walking into her room she stops at the stairs and yells "Uncle Sanji?". A few pots and pans can be heard 'clanging' together. "Breakfast will bill ready in a few!" he yells back up the stairs to Sakura. She giggles at her Uncle. 'Knowing Uncle Sanji he was asleep on the couch and when I called his name most likely woke him up.' Though Sakura as she got dressed.
She slipped on a pair of black flip-flops that had a two inch heel. Sakura then grabbed her red shoulder bag off the chair. As well as picking up her Blackberry and I-Pod touch off the desk next to the chair, then stuffed them in her bag.
Down stairs...
Uncle Sanji had sat a plate of eggs and a beagle, with cream cheese, in front of her. They ate in silence.
"So what was it called again?" asked Sakura as she took a bite of her beagle.
"Konoha. It's about a five hour flight. Got all your stuff packed?" Having packed all her the night before, she need not worry about anything the next morning. She nodded.
"Are you sure you're going to be okay? You don't have to go... You can stay here and keeping living with me." Uncle Sanji said with a low voice and a sad look in his eyes.
"No, it's ok... I want to, I need to go. I have to find out who my parents are and what happened." Sakura said as she finished her breakfast and standing up. She grabbed her duffel bag, red shoulder bag, and headed off to the car.
Uncle Sanji followed her out the door, getting her laptop carrier for her and his keys.
The drive to the airport was quiet.
"I'm really going to miss you kiddo," He sighed, and gave her a great big hug. Then his turned sad smile turned into a loving smile. "Don't forget, you always have a home here Sakura."
She nodded and walked to her boarding area.
"Plane 13 in now boarding." said a woman over intercom.
As she made her ways to the gate she turned back and waved her and gave her final goodbyes.
She slept for three hours then played games for a good half. Then listen to music the rest of the time.
She could hear the guitar in the back ground... Then the drums joined in giving it that Rock or emo feel to it.
Perfect by nature,
I come form self indulgence,
Just what we all need,
More lies about a world that...
She stated to think about her life before Sanji had came to save her. The times when she felt alone and scared.
Never was and never will be
Have you no shame?
Don't you see me?
You know you've got everybody fooled
She remember when the people had taken her beat her. She would fake and tell her 'friends' that nothing was worng and she was fine.
Look, here she comes now
Bow down and stare in wonder,
Oh how we love you,
No flaws when you're pretending
But now I know she...
She was the prefect student some teacher would tell her. She never got anything below a -A. Cause if she did the beating would just get wrose.
Never was and never will be
You don't know how you've betrayed me,
And somehow you've got everybody fooled.
She somewhat hated her father's side of the family. Had they just taken her it never would have happen... Because of 'that' she was never the same.
Without the mask where will you hide?
Can't find yourself lost in your lies.
She wore a mask around everyone. And then she would get so catch up in all the lies she told her 'friends' that they became real to her. But only at school. Cause when she went home, reality would sink in with a painful slap in the face.
I know the truth now,
I know who you are,
And I don't love you anymore!
When one 'friend' found out that she had lied about something... It was so long ago she didn't even remember what it was about. They turned their backs on her.
It never was and never will be,
You don't know how you've betrayed me,
And somehow you've got everybody fooled,
But then she would put on that little fake smile and say she was sorry they would come back running. Because your prefect when your pertending.
It never was and never will be!
You're not real and you can't save me!
And somehow now you're everybody's fool!
As the music dead she thought of why she loved that song so much.
Sakura loved that song because it reminded her of herself. Always faking smiles, pretending to be okay, and telling herself lies like everything's going to be right.
Fake... Not real... Imposter... Or in other words... A fool.
A fool that everyone thought was real, but wasn't.
