[Discussion] Yay or Nay for overpowered DFs.

I think no matter how strong the DF is finally it's up to the skill of the user who uses it, common example is Whitebeard and Blackbeard.
Whitebeard was quiet OP because he knew how to use his DF, although Blackbeard wasn't able to use whitebeard DF that much skillfully, but we need OP DF's, I am expecting Roger DF pretty much OP.

I think it's more possible he had the Gomu Gomu but I would prefer it, if he had the Yami Yami yes
but both were at MF and noone mentioned them belonging to Roger, though as ROger is as of yet supposed to be a secret that is completely understandable

and I think that it would be interesting if ppl were mistaken and were saying that BB was the one who Roger is waiting for, rather than Luffy, based on the Yami Yami No Mi

If anything roger had the gomu gomu, but then...nobody even mentioned it at marine ford when they saw luffy or blackbeard.

Oda always finds a way to slow down people with OP fruits.

Whitebeard only being shown as an old man

Kizaru being an overall goofball

Enel being to confident and also fighting basically his only weakness

So yeah, he could definately introduce some of these fruits and it would be cool, but also lame since you already know they will be possessed by a goofball or something.

So you don't think he'll ever make a character with an overpowered DF, who doesn't have a personality that restricts its use? I can imagine that at least one of the Yonkou is like that.

Kid has crazy potential, if his DF is legitimately a magnetism fruit,stuff like geomagnetism,electromagnetism,really hax shit.

I don't think he'll be able to use his DF freely though, as there will probably be some kind of restriction to his ability.

People would definitely mention that Luffy or Blackbeard had the same DF as the late Pirate King. Whitebeard, who both witnessed Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Mi and Blackbeard's Yami Yami no Mi, would say something about it.

also not necessarily since Oda would ofc not want to reveal anything about Roger at that point, you could assume that all the big names (Marines from their past encounters and WB from Ace as for Teach, he stole teh fruit from WB's crew and he was a sichibukai so the marines knew as well) knew before-hand what Luffys and BBs fruits were so what would be the point of them pointing it out at MF for us?

I have this theory that Kid will be Luffys whitebeard. His DF is seriously OP and he could become the second man with the power to destroy the world. sorry for double post

Kid ... Shiki (levitation and magnetism could be used in very similar ways in a fight)
