Many people believed that yata and Totsuka were sage tools. However this wasp roven false last chapter.

This further proves as well that Totsuka and Yata mirror aren't items that were created by men

I used to thing they were the Elder Son's weapons. Then I thought they might be Kaguya's. But who knows, Kishi needs to explain this one.

It is one of the three sacred treasure tools: the other being Sword of Totsuka. The third tool is unknown but it is assume to be the Kusanagi Sword wield by Orochimaru.

I don't think the manga states that they originate from anywhere. If anything, it seems like some supernatural external force created these weapons.

They are based from Japanese myth.
the sword
the mirror
and the magatama, we haven't see magatama at all, and orochimaru's is the physical version of totsuka sword.

Nope. The Yasaka Magatama, or Magatama, refereed to as the jewel of one of the Imperial Regalia of Japan, was a technique used by both Madara and Itachi using Susanoo, the third Mangekyou Sharingan ability. Sasuke used a version of this techniuqes with his Enton (Viz "Inferno Style" or "Blaze Release").

That is not the magatama i am talking about. The jewel probably exists as a weapon as well. I dont think we should rank that move as part of the three weapons.

Myself and alot of other people already knew this. Orochimaru was searching for these weapons and not once mentioned it being a sage tool. BZ who contains Madaras will also never said anything about it being a sages tool. Only that the wielder of both Yata and Totsuka is invincible. So for Madara to say something like that these weapons must be a different level than the sages weapons. Their hype and portrayal is intriguing. It deserves some explanation other than more DB hype.

I am almost completly sure that Kishi will reveal them as Kagyua Princess's treasured weapons which she created with her holy power to fight Shinjuu turning into Monster. Maybe she lost and then Sage hide these weapons somewhere in respect to mother while creating his own and fight against beast.

It would be the most fitting and nice explanation.
