Yasato

Once known for being a home to some of the most diverse and densely arranged fauna, Yasato is one of few regions that seemed almost completely unphased by the ravaging of the Cataclysm, or the spread of the Scarlet Rot. The robust life there still flourishes nearly untouched by the newfound chaos; like an eden cut off from the rest of the world. In this region, three smaller fragments from the Moon's splintering form had made landfall, where they now stand as lunar monoliths. Seemingly insignificant beyond their origins, yet all forms of natural life can be seen gathering around them, as if drawn by some unseen energy.

Upon entering the wilderness and heartlands of the land of Fire, the coastal breeze was now far behind and Alucard felt at peace letting Ikiru go and face his destiny. Something that he would have to do for himself now. Burdened heavy with the sickness that draw power from him like an open wound, he could not deal with any major threats anymore. A most humiliating situation for someone of his calibre. Nevertheless. His mission was simple, gather intel about his past and the final power that awoke within him, a completely random event that made him question everything as he hadn't caught any Otsotsuki in the Chimera technique for it to make sense. Could he have had.. this power from long ago.. He sat on his lonely throne, aching for blood.

Rage is boiling within me... I can't stand this anymore..

Alucard would then pick up chakra signatures in his vicinity. He could see it clearly through his Tenseigan. A squad of some 10 men that were checking out the surroundings it would seem. At full disclosure, he would would close in on them and summon a kage bunshin that he would use as bait.

(Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) - Shadow Clone Technique
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20 (total chakra is divided by the final number of clones plus the user)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and himself and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clones, a max number of 4, are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after hit by a strong enough force, returning 10% of its individual chakra to the user. Shadow clones can't be distinguished from the original with Sharingan, Byakugan, Rinnegan or normal Chakra Sensing. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones.

The clone of Alucard would jump down the platform and land on the ground while the original would hide in the treetops to mask his whereabouts. The clone would then run along and intercept the unknown squad. This was clearly a deception, and going by his own critical condition he could not take the risk of being ambushed. The clone approached the squad with his hands in his pockets whilst being apprehended by the squad of shinobi that now revealed themselves. They looked rather odd, even for shinobi. All of them had glasses, black ones, with green robes and the symbol of a large bug on their robes. Alucard whispered to himself..

..Hoo? So they acknowledge that they are just bugs.. Atleast they are self-aware.. - Alucard

The troop surrounded his clone and pointed kunais towards it while one of them released a mass of bugs from a large vessel they carried on their back. The bugs would quickly shape onto a large swarm, surrounding the clone from all angles except infront of it. The apparent leader of the group stepped forwards.

You, whats your business here in our sacred forest?

Through the clone, Alucard would speak using mental commands..

Oh.. "Your" forest.. Might wanna update the border with some signs eh? - Clone

..We are the signs, you heathen.

Heathen... - Clone

At this point, he didn't not care for any sort of proper presentation of himself, as his bloodlust took over and there along ran his sole ambition to destroy anything and anyone that dared mock him. He had had it at this point and let out his rage. Through his clone, Alucard would unleash jinton chakra that was heavily fortified in chakra and damage from his Yggdrasil sword. A naturally lesser version of the Rasterize technique would instead become lethal and form into a sphere of concentrated dust release that washed upon the inferior creatures who obviously had no idea whom they stood up against. Even in his weakest state ever, Alucard was taking down jonin ninja without effort.

(Jinton: Rasutaraizu | Dust Release: Rasterize)
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: B-S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 20-40 (+10)
Damage: 40-80 (+20) = 80
Description: The user will expand a 3D field using their own body as a base for the expansion of the technique. This means the 3D shape expands around the user in all directions. Depending on the rank of the technique it will reach short(B rank, up to 5 meters around the user), mid(A rank, up to 8 meters around the user) and long(S rank, up to 15 meters around the user). Everything that is captured in the field(that has a cubic formation at the edge) will be disintegrated which will essentially rasterized the user away from their surroundings and leave them intact while everything around them is disintegrated. B rank can be used at all times, requiring a single seal. A rank can be used three times, once every second turn and requires two seals. S rank can be used twice, requiring a cooldown of three turns and requires three handseals.

Note: Can only be taught by Skorm.

The technique used by the clone would vaporize all the targets. All of them but one. Through the Tenseigan, Alucard could see a pattern of chakra still in the clear of the blast. The pattern of tenketsu and chakra pathways indicated that the man that remained was using some sort of ninjutsu in order to remained unstathed from the blast. However, intentional or not, he had only saved himself. He somehow managed to absorb the technique. Sitting on his gravity belt that was shaped like a throne, Alucard would witness something familliar as he looked closer to the chakra pathways of the remaining opponent. He noticed the same chakra output from his clones technique was now inheritly coursing through the opponents right arm and stored inside his main chakra system. He clearly had absorbed it, but not through any ninja tool. No, this was either the Preta path, which god forbid would mean the end for Alucard, or.. Could it be the meiton element.. Looking even closer, Alucard spotted the pattern and the opening inside the opponents hand. It was that of the dark mark, the very same one that he had had for a while now. How interesting this event seemed to turn out, this was by no means any regular shinobi, it was most definetily a Kage or atleast one of their closest subordinates.

(Meiton: Kyūketsukō) - Dark Release: Inhaling Maw
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user uses their dark release to forcibly extract the physical and spiritual energy (chakra) of another ninja and absorb it through the upper square of the mark on his left hand, which can then be used to perform Dark Release: Judgment.
Note: Can absorb up to A-Rank Wind, Fire and Lightning techniques, S-Rank raw chakra or C-Rank Water, all within reason. Has no effect on Earth techniques.

Tch, Nice move but you are now history. You have entered the sacred realms of the Aburame clans vigil and there's no mercy on those that shut the eyes of my brothers. I sentence you to death.

Alucard looked towards his clone and their shared vision would suddenly blur as the Aburame shinobi would make a stance and shift his right leg towards Alucards clone. He then sprinted, fast enough for the clone to be unable to react in time. Chakra pulsated through the opponents body and while Alucards clone tried to dodge to the side it mattered little as the opponent had released a massive amount of bugs that acted resembled spiked tentacles. With a swift lunge, the opponent would smash the clone out of existance using two streams of bugs that consumed the clone.

( Kikaichu kasui no Jutsu ) Destruction Bug Stream technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
description: The user will raise their arms to release a torrent of destruction bugs that combine into two spear like forms that spiral towards the target lifting them into the air, where they brutally feed on the targets chakra. ( 3x the average within Short Range and 2x the average within Mid Range ).
Note: Must be a Member of the Aburame clan.

However, right after that, the man would look up towards the real Alucard without any hesitation and with his black glasses revealing the most sinister stare. It was the Sakki, killing intent that was strong enough for rocks to start to fly from the ground. The man had a physical presence that stretched far beyond the boundaries of his body.

..Found you.

Alucard fell a striking chill running down his spine as not only did the ninja completely shrugged off the jinton technique but he also seemed to know about his positioning. How the hell could that be, was he a sensory ninja? Alucard then heard a whispering cricket sound that was coming from the tree that he was hiding behind. An insect was found sitting on it, staring right at him. For a second, Alucard could almost see the Aburame shinobis black glasses being reflected in the bugs eyes. Was it a link, like the special bonds between kuchioyse no jutsu or was it the Aburame's hiden ability as well? In any case, it was suspicous and when Alucard looked around him, he noticed that he was surrounded by thousands of them. As a matter of fact, the entire forest was surrounded by small bugs just like that one sitting infront of Alucard. Could they be the recon that these Aburame used for surveillance around their forests to detect intruders? Most definitely.
( Shōkaichū Sukyan ) Neutralising Destruction Insect Scan
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A-Rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Description: Shōkaichū are one of several species of insect used by members of the Aburame clan. They resemble worms. They can dig into the ground and locate chakra signatures ( Long Range ) that they continuously report to their respective Aburame. Muta Aburame was known to store these particular insects within his body. This particular technique creates a mental scan of the entire area, revealing any technique or chaka signature, though it is not completely efficient against chakra supressing techniques, such as those employ by Muu.
Note: They last 3 turns before reverting back onto the user and ending the technique.
Note: Require 2 turn break between usages.

Without the ability to get rid of them, Alucard had to make a decision. His pride told him one thing but his guts told him another. Before he knew it himself, pride had taken over his body and made him float down and face the opponent face to face.

You're a most impressive one. Had i been at full power though, you'd just been an insect, not different from the ones you manipulate.

The Aburame shinobi stood in absolute silence and seemingly wanted Alucard to make the first move. Alucard knew two of the opponents abilities besides their probabel ability to use the basic five elements - bugs and dark. This meant that Alucard could not rely on his most powerful element at this rate. Instead he would have to try and work with what he got. He would start off by gathering up his chakra.

..Felwinter..

(Kuriputon: Feruinta | Liquid Krypton Release: Felwinter)
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: D-S(B)
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 10-40(-10 per turn when sustained)
Damage: 20-80(40)
Description: Felwinter is a multi-ranked technique that serves as the basic, jack-of-all-trades technique of the Krypton release. It can be created from existing sources(air) or from the user directly. Depending on how much chakra he/she spends it amps the technique further and thus produces more liquid Krypton. The force of the torrent of the ultra cold liquid will also become greater the more chakra is spent into the technique. But even so, small amounts of liquid Krypton may be enough for some occasions too. Through this technique, the user will be able to create small or large torrents of the liquid Krypton, create a huge "sea" of the ultra cold liquid or manipulate pre-existing liquid Krypton to form into huge hands or small flying liquid bullets. Even though the possibilities are essentially endless, since the release is indeed liquid it cannot maintain any lasting functional structures unless chakra is used to sustain the releases state. Sort of like water which can be formed into a dragon but needs chakra to sustain its form in such case. D, C and B ranks can be used indefinitely while B-ranks will require one handseal; Hare. A rank variation can be used up to 4 times, but will start to require two handseals; Hare - Ox. S-rank variation requires three handseals; Hare - Ox - Rabbit - and can be used up to 3 times per battle.

Note: B-ranks require a single handseal, A ranks two handseals and S rank three handseals.
Note: A rank version can be used 4 times per battle, S rank 3.
Note: No Krypton Above A-rank after using S-rank version in the same turn and next.

A mass of liquid krypton would flow from Alucards shoes and race down on the ground, rapidly cool everything down to ultra cold temperatures. Knowing its power against organic matter such as blood, wood and whatnot, Alucard would make the right decision and use the liquid krypton release. It would freeze and shatter the bugs in his viscinity up to mid-range, ensuring Alucard that there could be no surprise attacks. Atleast not from any other angles. The substance did also reach the opponent, and curiosity rose within him as he would witness if his opponent had other abilities. He used his Tenseigan to scan for chakra through his opponents chakra flow and he noticed the Aburame releasing chakra that flowed outwards towards his lungs.

You liked it.. cold? Good.

Suddenly a massive wall of wind would push back the krypton along with Alucard. The wind was packing enough punch to not just crush the now ultra cold earth to pieces, it would carry those pieces with it.

(Fūton: Atsugai) - Wind Style: Pressure Damage
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: The user does the Ram handseal and inhales, kneading his chakra into his lungs, exhaling a huge blast of wind that levels anything in its path. Can cause major damage and requires a sufficient chakra level to perform. This large wind blast moves in tremendous speed and cannot be controlled. If the user gets caught in it, it will harm him also.

Alucard reacted quickly and stretched out his right arm towards the wind technique, utilizing his dark mark to absorb it fully.

The wind pushed back several shards of debris and one of which would pierce through Alucards right leg, forcing his absorption to a halt. He was now in big trouble and even though he could not feel the direct pain of it, he was almost immobilized now.

Bad luck eh.. I'll make sure you will be sent to the gods properly.

Tch..

Alucard pulled the piece of earth that had pierced through his leg and tossed it towards his opponent in pure spite, who deflected it easily. Alucard was panting hard and uncontrollably now. His regenerative factor kicked in immediately but it would only help him get up on his feet. He had no choice now. He had to run for his life.

Leave me. I'm no match for you..

Leave you?! Ha-ha-ha-aah..no.. I dont think so.

Nevermind then.

Alucard was now on the brink of death. With zero options left, he would create a diversion to summon back his gravity fleet that would help him get far away from the scene. He tossed several smoke kunais and pointed his arm towards the skies and pulled it back using his gravitational powers.

Previously summoned through Kote:
( Kinbō Tensei Jōzai ) - Localized Reincarnation Tablet
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 30 (+15 per turn active)
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates a floating sphere from nearby debris beneath them, using the gravitational control to levitate the sphere of debris and use it as a floating platform. Keeping it active, however, requires the user to expend chakra.
Note: Can only be used by Tenseigan Bios.

Alucard attempted his escape. He flung up on the gravity belt and flew as fast as he could and behind him he could hear the roars of the Aburame leader, mocking his futile attempt to try and flee. Alucard could not believe he had to do this shit, honestly he was very close to just suicide explosion himself with the opponent but no. This time he would chose to live, if he could. He had just awoken his greatest powers. He could not let anyone or anything take that away from him. Not now. After having reached approximately 100 meters up in the sky, he could hear the sound of something massive coming towards him. The opponent had lunched massive spheres of bugs that were coated with dark chakra which meant that no matter if Alucard would absorb the dark chakra he would still be hit by the bugs regardless. Without any other choice, Alucard would turn rapidly to the left with his tablet and scratch the technique on his left. The bug sphere would crash into him and make him fall.

( Hijutsu: Mushidama ) Secret Technique: Insect Sphere
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: By using the destruction bugs, members of the Aburame clan release their bugs into the air. Once the bugs sense an enemy presence, they will all gather on the enemy and cover him completely, and begin draining his chakra. This technique is very hard to avoid at short range.
Note: Must be a member of the Aburame clan.

(Taibu Meiton No Jutsu) - Greater Dark Release Technique
Rank: A
Type: Attack/Defence/Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: This is a stronger version of the Dark Release technique. The user can shoot dark release energy blasts, shields or any kind of shape through the usage of the Dark Release but on a larger scale than the standard Dark Release technique.
Note: Can only be used three times per match
Note: Courtesy of Ryujin

Now then, i'm fcked aren't i..

Alucard tried to come up with a plan during his free fall. It didn't help much that he noticed a massive cloud of bugs was forming from the sphere and from all across the landmark hundred meters above him. This gigantic mass of bugs had one purpose, and that was to leave no traces of Alucards existance after he had hit the ground.

( Kikaichu: Utsuro ) Parasitic Destruction Insects: Hollow
Type: Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 40
Damage points: 80
Description: The user manipulates the destruction bugs to form a large airborne cloud that descends on the enemy. After the insects are on the ground around the enemy they all swarm on the enemy and quickly erupt into an explosion of insects.
Note: Must be a member of the aburame clan.

At this point, Alucard had only had a fraction of time to realize what he could do to save himself. He looked at his belongings through his robes and found the Forgefiends Fabricators. He now had crafted a plan. He had to fake his own death and essentially put himself on the brink of death once more. Without being able to see the opponent himself, Alucard knew that he didn't bother looking for his body but instead focused solemnly on his destruction. Poor choice, but something that was a very welcoming fact for Alucard to survive this. He applied a large grin on his face. It was going to put him at the end of his life line but... He would survive.

..The line between life and death is so.. very... thin..

Utilising his doton chakra, Alucard would summon a portal above the cloud of bugs. The portal would contain a massive block shaped like a lid. It would be infused by the Hangurian ore that Alucard access to via the forgefiends fabricators. The ore would escalate the dropping lid techniques damage potential and rank, making it sustain a massive increase in power. Against the insects, it would be heavy enough to crush the swarm as it dropped out of the portal and falling straight ontop of the bug cloud. Upon impact with it, the lid would explode causing a massive air quake that sent shockwaves and earthen debris all across the landmark. Gigantic falling rocks would split through the sky and rain down on the ground. One of them would land straight on Alucard, just according to plan.

(Doton: Otoshibuta) - Earth Release: Dropping Lid
Type: Offensive
Rank: B(A)
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40(60)
Description: After doing the Snake handseal and slamming his hands on the ground, he user creates a portal above the target, high in the sky from which a giant, boar-shaped, earthen lid drops and falls on the target, trapping it underneath. The lid can be hollow or solid, depending on if the user wants to deal damage to the enemy or not. Because of its size, to safely used, the lid has to be created at least mid range from the user otherwise he will also be caught inside. The biggest lid can dwarf a boss summon like Nagato's Dog or Gamabunta.

(Kenja Seisakusha) – Forgefiend’s Fabricator
Type: Artifact
Rank: A
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: N/A (+10 chakra cost to applied technique)
Damage: N/A
Description: The Hangurian Golden Age marked a period of technological supremacy over the rest of the world; the supremacy was enjoyed by many – from the military to the average craftsman. What remains of the Hangurian lore speaks of a depraved blacksmith that fashioned weapons for the Black Ones. These weapons fueled the Hangurian war machine and were hailed as the most effective weapons created in the history of the Freehold. One such weapon, the Forgefiend’s Fabricator, is a type of trinket/charm tool that the wielder can use to focus additional chakra into their Earth-based techniques. Unique to the Fabricator is that it can produce limited amounts of Hangurian Ore into one’s Earth-based techniques, imbuing them with a slight metallic red sheen and granting them potent explosive qualities. The volatile ore can be infused into one’s non-supplementary Earth-based techniques for a bonus rank in strength, or 20 damage for S-Rank and above techniques. The infusion can occur within the same timeframe of the applied technique, counting as a move and an active boost. The explosive qualities of the earth can be initiated either through contact, meaning when clashing with other techniques or obstructions, or simply through the will of the user opting to prematurely detonate them. The explosion is proportional to the size of the technique used, making them rather precarious to use in close range of the user. The Forgefiend’s Fabricator can be used once every other turn.

He would crash into the ground, with some minor bruises but the irony of it all was that he now had to brace for serious impact. One of the massive rocks would land straight on him and smash into the ground, pushing him several meters below the ground under a massive crater. Alucards natural resistance through his Yin infused skeleton would be the one thing to save him at this point. Nothing else could have. He fainted, lacking energy or life to hope to get out of there. With it, any chance of sense him would also faint for his chakra was now so low that it would remain undetectable, for most people anyway. There were no bugs here either, no, Alucard had forged his own living burial to surive the onslaught of a superior force that could've claimed his life with a single breath. Alucard would dwell here til his wounds would somewhat heal on their own and he would gather enough strength to carry on.

...

Two days had passed and Alucard would re-emerge from the burial site. He couldn't see any chakra patterns in sight through his Tenseigan and was instead able to hop on what remained of his gravity belt and carry on. He would float several hundred meters in the sky from now on, not wanting to be detected. Not until his mission was done.

This post begins my mission using the following storyboard elements:
  • Defend yourself from wild beasts
Summary of Chapter Having inadvertently gotten lost in a forest, Scarlet is confronted with a small pack of wolves. With his quick thinking he escapes up into the tree's above. Using the new vantage point he tries deterring the animals with different methods, finding success in throwing food. Using the ensuing chaos, makes his escape through the trees.

Scarlet Uchiha
Scarlet strolled cheerfully along the path, humming to himself a tune his mother used to sing. It was comforting to hum especially since he might not get to see her for quite some time, but nevertheless he also couldn’t contain his excitement. He had convinced his mother to let him leave home to go on a journey researching and learning more about the shinobi world and ninjutsu, what he hadn’t told her was that he had a secret ‘mission’ as he liked to call it. The objective; to find his father.

His thoughts were interrupted when he heard something to his right. Turning his head slightly, he only just realized where he was. In his excitement he had inadvertently wandered down a side trail into what seemed to be a forest. Odd. He was usually a lot more perceptive than this, however he wasn’t going to dwell on these thoughts, for as he had turned his head a sudden noise from behind caused his reflexes to kick in. Ducking down low, he narrowly managed to avoid getting knocked down by a pouncing wolf, with no hesitation Scarlet formed a plan in his head. As he knew wolves would normally hunt in packs, he quickly ran to the closest tree, sending his chakra to the soles of his feet, he ran halfway up the trunk and launched himself to an adjacent branch.

Safely above the ground, Scarlet scanned the immediate area, assessing his options he started to formulate the best approach. From the information he could ascertain that this was at least a hunting party of 3 maybe 4 wolves, simple to deal with and wouldn’t take too much chakra if any at all. Reaching into the pouch on his leg, he pulled out a few rocks that he had collected earlier that day and took aim on the 2 wolves that were directly below him. Pulling his hand back he lashed his arm forward in a blur, releasing from his grip two stones that struck the wolves below.

He cringed a little at the whimper that both the animals let out as the rocks stuck. As they retreated back, the other two wolves came forward and began to circle the tree base, giving Scarlet the eye as they attempt to jump up to the branch he was on. Knowing he only had a limited supply of rocks to throw, he thought to himself what else he might have that he would either deter or distract the creatures below. Assuring he had decent footing on the branch, he reached around to his satchel and began to rummage for something. His hand resting on the parcel he was looking for, he quickly pulled it out and opened it. Inside were a few portions of dried meats and other off-cuts.

Picking out a couple of the off-cut portions, Scarlet dropped a couple of pieces down to the wolves to test if they would take it. Surely enough, the wolves were unable to resist the smell of the meat, facing each other and snarling, getting ready to attack. Perfect moment to add fuel to the fire, dropping more of the meats and off-cuts he dropped them in a way that they would either land at the feet of each wolf or land close to their snouts. As soon as the meats had dropped they rushed in ravenously snapping at anything they could get before the others.
As soon as they had rushed in on the food, Scarlet had already made use of the time given to him by jumping over to an adjacent tree and so on so forth. Thinking that this might actually be the better way to travel through the forest, the trees were large enough that they would support his weight, and if need be he can get higher to get more coverage from the canopy. He would look behind him every now and then to check to see if the wolves were following him but thankfully enough it did not appear to be the case. Letting out a small sigh of relief, Scarlet continued onward happy that he didn't have to resort to using any jutsu on the animals.

End of Mission

They had reached a familiar place. The Aburame clan dwelled here in the outskirts of the old Hanguri stronghold, it was here that Alucard a few years back had fought against a band of clansmen who all had treated him as a hostile during the Red Fever pandemic. His powers had grown exponentially since he was here last time and on the contrary the presence of high level chakra individuals here had decreased substantially. Because of his condition last time he was here he had to fake his own death in order to get out of the clash between him and the Aburame, a most shameful tactic that only animals would resort to. He sighed as they passed through the green and thick forests here with Lilith taking notes.

What's wrong tough guy?
She formed her right hand into a fist and pretended to knock her dad in the jaw, further cementing her statement and small concern.

I almost died here once, not that short after you were born. We're both lucky the people who engaged me then where knuckleheads. Pity though, i wished i could've actually caught some of them around here but they seemed to have scattered long ago.
However, he did actually pick up a few chakra signatures in the distance all concentrated into what to him looked like a village located in the same place as before. Out of curiosity he decided to head there to see how they lived nowadays. He and Lilith walked on a rough path through the forest with a threshold of an insanely intense swarm of bugs acting as a living barrier separated them from the premises of the small village. A signature style of keeping danger out in the Aburame terms. The swarm immediately noticed their presence and scattered into waves that pulsated towards them. As they landed they did nothing but inspect them, not biting or draining any chakra. An elder voice was heard from within the village.

You're clean i suppose.. Well don't just stand there, come on.
Not being super stoked about the whole swarmed-by-bugs concept, Lilith raised a small whisper.

Do you think it's a trap?
Alucard chuckled. With his dangerously high confidence and lust for action he strutted on.

I would welcome it actually. I'm immortal and very bored.

No, you're n.. Bored?!
After reluctantly standing still and letting her father march on into the village by himself she noticed that he wasn't impaled or sat on fire by the locals the instant they saw him. Guess it wasn't a trap afterall, she thought to herself as she looked through the wooden gates behind the barrier of insects. She started to walk into the village as well, looking for Alucard and noticed that he had already found himself in the tavern with the sweet name; The Happy Locust.

You must be registered for see images
She realized how long it had been since she had had a smoke or even relaxed by a fire not out in the wild with two muppets. After pulling out a cig from her sacred secret stash in her jacket she torched it with a snap of her fingers having them light up with a small but very hot amount of liquid metal. She inhaled the tobacco and felt relaxed. She leaned back and stared out into the sky. The sun was about to set, prompting artificial light to take over in the village in the form of controlled fireflies and regular lamps. It felt so different being inside a village after having been out in the world for so long. She enjoyed it whole-heartily. She reflected on her time being alone from Alucard and his whole epic with one of the epic monsters of the world, The Basmu. It was clear that he had come out of the fight victorious but without so much of a prize, leading Lilith to think that it all might've been just wasted. Perhaps it was something she should've brought to her father but she lacked the courage to do so. Perhaps she was wrong to think so in the first place. It then struck her that she would never have grown so much as she did when she was all by herself but traveling alongside Alucard again made her feel like they were just bond to be together but it was perhaps not going to be an always given. And those moments she had to be ready for...

After a while she went into the tavern as well, noticing it was the usual only that beverages were served by large fireflies which also provided most of the light inside. The ambience made it quite unique in here. Alucard was sitting in a large couch talking with some random people who seemed to be of Anbu ranks. Each with their own drink. As she stood there in the entrance overseeing the place she was being observed by another girl inside the tavern who had seemingly taken an interest in Lilith's appearance and got up from her chair and approached her. As she got closer, Lilith noticed her and blushed for she looked very pretty. With blonde hair, sky blue eyes and a snow white dress. Opposite of Lilith's colors entirely.

Hey stranger! Care for a mead? Come join us over here.
She pointed towards the other side of the tavern where a small group of people sat and pulling laughs and jokes. All seemingly being the same age as her. Lilith put out her half dead cigarette and tossed it out the window with quite a flourish. She stuttered when she replied.

S-sure.. I need a drink.
She smiled to her.

Thought so. C'mon. Oi, a honeybrew over here!
The two of them walked towards the others and sat down. Lilith then got her drink, a large pint with liquid warmth and happiness. She tasted it and was stunned by its flavor. It was like honey but not too sweet and with an almond/wooden texture combined with cloudberries. And then of course it was also containing alcohol. Something she did not notice as it was masked by the intense flavor of the mead. Luckily for Lilith it was not very strong or otherwise she'd been knocked out almost immediately. Instead she enjoyed her time with the company she was around and leaned back. It seemed like the company she was with were long time friends, most inherent from this village and belonging to the Aburame clan and some orphans raised up here not belonging to the clan. They were mostly interested in the new person who had joined them though. It was obvious to them that Lilith was an adventurer as she was equipped with two exotic swords on her back. They were all curious to hear her out and ask her about the life on the road, the life of a Shinobi. Hours passed and after having shared stories for all that time along with having several honeybrews, Lilith grew tired. She wasn't the only one though, acknowledging her fatigue, Lilith's new friends would get up and leave after thanking her for a great time. The girl who had asked her to join in the first place stayed with her and fixed so that she had a room in the tavern over the night before also leaving and promising to see her first thing in the morning. Lilith looked over to where Alucard was.. indisposed with a flock of lightly-clothed women lying ontop of him surrounded with booze. Guess he was already asleep and alone she walked up to the loft in the tavern and got into bed to sleep. They would both stay the night here.

After having spent the night there it was time to get moving again. Lilith would put this place in her memory as she had gained some friends around in the Aburame stronghold. Before leaving the two of them purchased some food before heading out into the wild.

This post is the start of a mission using the following storyboard elements:

-Investigate a Monolith (3)

There was a cloud figuratively over Nadja's head as she reflected on her inability to protect her team mates from the rampaging Beast that had cause all 3 of them to be knocked out, and perhaps almost killed if not for a savior. Though Nadja didnt want to admit it, she was not strong enough and hated that she couldn't do anything to overcome the Beasts ferocious power. Yawning and for once in her travels taking a moment to stand still and look around, she looked to see where about's she was going and perhaps if she should set up camp for the night. It wasn't long before her feet had carried her to a region within the Land of Fire, almost near the heart of the land itself, and despite not having been there, she had read about... Keji? Keyshe? It was something like that but her foggy memory was focusing on other things at the moment. Curiously the area she was in seemed to be almost a perfect glade, or at least perhaps a well looked after field that didnt have any notion of civilizational life anywhere, only host to local wildlife and remarkably, well grown plants.

Nadka knew that the Scarlet Rot had taken a toll on a majority of the world, infesting almost everything and being transported by carriers from the smallest animals to massive cities but this entire area had no presence of any chaos or strife at all, it was comforting. Wandering forwards through, Nadja was cautious to explore through the area, if perhaps it was looked over by some guardian or guardians that protected the area who would have to be powerful indeed if the could protect this forest from the Scarlet Rot or any outside forces. She didnt know where she was going, but it almost felt like instinct was pulling her deeper, or was it a gut feeling to explore more into this green paradise. What ever the reason upon reaching the heart of where ever she was, Nadja let out an impressive breath that formed into an awe inspiring... "Wow..."
Situated in a clearing was a massive chunk of stone but unlike any earth or rock she had seen before with a few animals sleeping around it. It sat at the bottom of a crater with the chunk of stone point upwards almost like something of a Radar Dish, the stone in a tear drop like shape in this brown bowl. Sliding down to the rock, a few of the animals began to scatter at her approach with birds taking flight and foxes jumping and skittering away back up the hill, Nadja's steps now echoing through the deposit. A few Deer were sleeping and at the foxes running away slowly woke up to see Nadja approaching and run off as well, with a big Buck the only one to stand its ground in a protective stance over its family. Though she didnt want to fight the animals, being merely intrigued by the stone, Nadja activated her sharingan to lul the Stag into a slumber as it fell back asleep.

( Doujutsu: Sharingan ) Eye Technique: Copy Wheel Eye
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C - A Rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15 - 30 ( -5 per turn for 1T and 2T, 10 per turn to keep active for 3T )
Damage: N/A
Description:
One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see chakra, Sharingan users gain acess to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. This clarity of perception leaves Sharingan users able to track high speed movement easily as well as to read through handseals. This last ability enables them to learn techniques much faster and sometimes copy them directly from the enemy, as long as the user has the necessary chakra affinities and requirements to perform it. Finally, the Sharingan is often linked to Genjutsu and mind-manipulating illusions, mostly because the user can, mostly through Eye Contact, directly and precisely use his chakra to manipulate the enemy's chakra flow. In return, the users clarity of perception gives him the ability to more easily decipher visual illusions cast upon him and see past them. The Sharingan has a great cost to the user though. The chakra consumption disables its use for long periods of time and, even when the user grows stronger, it's still hard to keep it active for long periods of time.
Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill
Note: C rank usage is for 1T Sharingan, B rank usage is reserved for 2T Sharingan. A Rank usage is reserved for 3T Sharingan.
Note: Predicting the nature of a technique or what it exactly is requires the user to either know the technique or that its a cannon technique.
Note: Danzo and Kakashi bios activate the Sharingan by removing the covers in their respective eyes and suffer a +10 chakra consumption per turn penalty
Note: The user is bound by the abilities and limits of the stage of sharingan he possesses, stated in the rules of the KG.
( Doujutsu: Genjutsu Sharingan ) - Eye Technique: Copy Wheel Eye Illusion
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: C - S
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15 - 40 ( Equal Cost for Each Additional Turn Sustained )
Damage points: 30 - 80
Description: This broadly refers to a range of genjutsu performed with the Sharingan. It has also been shown to be performed through the Sharingan's higher evolutions: the Mangekyō Sharingan and the Rinnegan. By establishing eye contact with a target, the Sharingan user traps them within a sustained Genjutsu of the user's creation. Sharingan Genjutsu are stronger than other Genjutsu, being difficult to break in comparison due to the sinister chakra powering them. When utilized through the Mangekyo Sharingan, these Genjutsu are enhanced and deal an additional 40 damage. However, the time dilation effects and similar effects/ability of Tsukiyomi and custom variants cannot be replicated through these illusions. When used through the EMS, these illusions deal an addition 50 damage. In the case of Supplementary and none damaging use, these Genjutsu can be exploited for one of various purposes, such as: causing temporary paralysis in the target, forceful extraction of information, relaying memories, removing Genjutsu placed on the target by others, and controlling a target's actions. Controlling a target's abilities in limited to Summoning and other none Creation/Ninja entities. The 3 Tomoe Sharingan can forcibly controls Basic and Ancient Summoning's actions as long as they sustain this technique. MS can affect up to Mythical Contracts while EMS can effect even Legendary Summonings. This control is limited to the ability to control their physical movements with limited access to their ninjutsu, using only skills related to the Summoning itself.

In the event of Bijuu, Mangekyo Sharingan users are able to use their MS to cast powerful enough Genjutsu that even Tailed Beasts cannot break their hosts from it, being ensnarled as well. These Genjutsu can also seize control of a Tailed Beast by temporarily severing its connection to the host without the need for eye contact. If the Jinchuriki has not entered any Chakra Shroud state or higher, the user can cast a powerful Genjutsu that severs their connection and prevents access to the Bijuu as well as any of it's skills for 3 turns. Should a Chakra Shroud or Incomplete Jinchuriki transformation occur, the user is capable of preventing full access to it's Bijuu Skills for 3 turns by suppressing it. This presents itself in an inability to utilize the Tailed Beast Bomb variants, a Bijuu Skill such as Sand or Coral as well as access higher transformations. Should the user have EMS, this control is extended to blocking access for double the time and should a Complete Transformation occur, the user is capable of suppressing it's form and ending the Transformation in it's entirety and forces the health drawbacks to trigger as well as a reduced max health and chakra by 25% from fatigue. However, Bijuu Suppression can only be done by sustaining the technique at the cost of 2 moves per turn and prevents Sharingan Genjutsu for 5 turns.
Note: While powerful, the effects of Sharingan Genjutsu only last while the user actively sustains the technique, preventing usage of other Ninjutsu at the same time. This indiscriminately prevents the use of chakra in other techniques outside of basic Taijutsu only.
Note: When used in the NW, this can be used to tame a wild Tailed Beast and allow the user to summon it in an enraged state for 4 turns, only being capable of using Sharingan and non chakra enhanced Bukijutsu during this time, Ninjutsu being barred while controlling the target. This beast is summoned at max powers and has access to it's Skills and one Bijuu Pathway, determined through Official Roll in the NRP Discord. This ability can currently only be done by Madara Uchiha in the Ninja World.
Note: Can only be used once per turn. MS and EMS use can only be done once every 4 turns.
Note: Requires Eye Contact and activation of 3 Tomoe and higher Sharingan.

Nadja wracked her brain as she tried to think of any stories about the area or if she had heard any rumours about this place that was just outside that area she heard of... Much to her dismay however the name of the area couldn't come to her, and any bedtime stories or legends didnt exactly cover what she was seeing either, unable to exactly describe what this place was. Upon reaching the stone she could get a closer look at it now with its dark grey and ashy texture it was definite up closer that it was no ordinary earthen rock. There was nothing she had seen before of this nature, and nothing she had read has come close to being similar to this stone, as it definitely was solid, and was stone like, but its smoothness was unreal for it to be sitting here naturally. Had it been from a battle or some ninjutsu, was the thought that crossed her mind and granted she didnt know every ninja ability in the world, something like this might have been mentioned or at least seen before, but then another thought crossed her head. Again with more strange and recently abnormal absurdities happening, she wouldn't be surprised if this was something from one of those Gods or massive beings of power that had come forth from the lands. Hesitantly, she ran her hand over it to feel it against her skin, half hoping it wasnt dangerous to the touch, though if it was she would have enough faith that she could heal or survive what it could potentially do. It was cold to the touch, apart from its smooth and strange colouring, it looked like a normal rock. Scanning it with her Sharingan, she couldn't see any particular chakra associated with the rock or anything covering it, and with its density and width she wouldn't be able to see through it either.

Was there something here that she was missing, something she was overlooking? Nadja was no geo expert even in ninjutsu she struggled with earthen techniques so this was far beyond her realm of knowledge, what she needed to do was to find an expert or talk to someone else about this. Thoughts ran through her head about where might be best to ask about this rock or if she might be able to show someone what it was, the libraries in Chungsu... there was a new leader there but.... Nadja was unsure, some rumours she had heard about her seemed that it could potentially be a bad idea. The Order of the Monks, well they had knowledge but as far as Nadja knew about them, she only seemed to be concerned with living on their own and just being isolated...
The God of the North was uninviting, it would probably be suicide to go up there as she is, and Tobusekai would also be out, from the reports she heard it was full of Rot so she couldn't even go see the Libraries out there. The Outer Lands might be worth a look perhaps, but Nadja wouldn't even know where to start... No what she needed is somehow to find information quietly about this and discreetly. This rock, this... Monolith seemed to be a fixture for this region, it potentially had some unique strange power over the lands, or at least for information's sake, she had to know where the rock came from.

Placing her hand of the Stone, she tried to channel chakra through it to change its shape or manipulate it in some way which failed, causing a bead of sweat to form upon her brow. Had the fight and recovery really taken that much energy out of her, or was it the rock just refusing to be manipulated? She was hoping that maybe manipulating it in some form might give her an idea of what it was or how it moved, if it was lighter to the touch or had any special properties. Taking a kunai from her pouch and looking towards the rock, Nadja stabbed the weapon into the rock in an attempt to get some chunk from the massive stone monument. It took a bit of time chipping away and making from cracks, blunting two of her kunai in the process but eventually she got a small palm sized chunk of the rock knocked off of the massive Monolith. Placing it away in her pouch safely and securely she picked up the two kunai she had flung to the ground after they broke to try and leave no trace of her being.

It was getting later into the night and Nadja let out a yawn, unable to hide the exhaustion from recovering as well as the travelling that crept up on her. Deciding to leave it for tomorrow, Nadja climbed out of the crater to find a quiet little place under a tree to set up a sleeping bag and her shelter. Wondering what or who might know more about the rock, she drifted off to sleep.
