Iight so boom. Yang release is composed of techniques that have a higher portion of yang nature, and by manipulating this energy one is able to boost their bodily functions in order to increase their strength and speed, heal themselves or others, generate additional appendages. The reason for this is because yang is life energy and is also able to breathe life into form. What this means is that one is able to give sentience to techniques containing chakra such as elemental familiars, giving them their own health and chakra pool, thus making them living entities. What you know about yang. Full explanation sir
A technique for bringing elemental familiars to life. A good thing about it is that it gets its own chakra pool and is able to sustain itself and also act independently. This is also bad because unlike normal familiars, this one can be placed in an illusion due to possessing a chakra network. Outside of that I can't really see any other cons to this technique.Ok first technique, which is pretty self explanatory. You basically get to gift life into your techniques; Giving them a mind of their own, chakra and the ability to use techniques from the source they are made of. It's a very good technique imo and has hella uses as long as you aren't an idiot. Just give me some pros and cons of this technique along with any questions you have
(Yoton: Jigoku ni henkō) - Yang Release: Change into Hell
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A (+50, -10 per turn)
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user is able to use their Yang nature too imbue life into an elemental technique, creating a Yang/Element sentient entity that remains on the field to aid them. The only limit is the size of the technique originally used as an elemental source, as the resulting entity will always be half the size. The entity can be interacted with, can act on its own, and is made of the element sourced with all its properties intact. Its strength is based on the original elemental technique used as a source. This doesn’t consume time since it is actually a skill applied to a technique used within the same timeframe. The infused chakra increases the technique by an additional ten chakra, of the fifty it costs in total. Note that the resulting entity created by this technique is bound by logical limitations of its shape and nature; a meteor cannot move on its own, a pillar cannot walk away, and a statue without arms cannot pick things up. Likewise, while it is able to use techniques from the source it is created from it cannot extend into different fields. For instance, if Susano’o is brought to life by this technique it cannot use Blaze Release unless the Susano’o itself is constructed, or partially formed, from Blaze itself (e.g. Sasuke’s Susano’o). It is bound by the literal source it is formed from, rather than the fields it is bound to.
Note: Usable 3 times per battle and up to 6 times per event to create one entity with up to 300 chakra points that is able to use jutsu from the source it was created from. Its chakra reserves can be replenished through external means, and because it has a chakra network can fall under the influence of Genjutsu or other Spiritual-based techniques.
Note: Yang Release masters can apply this technique to advanced fields and CE and advanced elements.
You can post all this but can't post my shattered heaven tech? Lol okay Shady. So this one is the epitome of healing. Use yang based chakra to heal high risk wounds, grow limbs back etc.
(Yoton: Taiyōnomegumi) - Yang Release: Touch of the Sun
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra cost:70 per use
Damage points: N/A
Description: Through the infusion of Yang natured chakra into others, users can heal others to their original best physical form. It can be used to regrow missing body parts, heal wounds, purge poisons, etc. The target needs to be alive and the bigger the injury, the longer it takes to heal. The limits of the heal, however, are almost none as it can heal 150 damage per turn and can even heal the chakra system or other injuries that are otherwise not possible to be healed. The technique requires time and physical contact and as such isn't very suited to use in a battle when compared to regular Iryo Ninjutsu.
Note: Yang Release masters are able to use on themselves.
This is a body empowering technique that makes use of yang chakra throughout the entirety of your body to buff you. This makes you go vroom and makes your tai go boom and pack a punch. And it lets you shave damage and heal. Really great technique but has some drawbacks ofc. Not fuuin or anything except elemental techs and physical techs like tai or Ken.
(Yoton: Ken'i) - Yang Release: Power of The Sun
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 100 (50 per turn)
Damage points: N/A (+40 to Taijutsu)
Description: The user will reinforce his own body with Yang natured chakra, empowering his physical abilities to the outermost limits. This allows him to become physically very strong (beyond the normal levels of chakra enhanced strength), increases his resistance to physical damage (decreasing 60 damage from any physical contact), his speed (boosted to 3.5x his normal speed), and grants him a passive healing of all minor wounds at 30 damage per turn. However, by infusing himself with the Yang Nature, he becomes unable to use Yin Release techniques or Yin/Yang Release techniques; he cannot use Genjutsu or non elemental Ninjutsu of any kind (including special fields like Fuuinjutsu).
Note: Can only be used twice per battle and lasts 4 turns per use.
Touch of the Sun is a technique that allows me to heal 150 damage per turn for either myself or others, regrow missing body parts, and even purge poisons by infusing yang chakra into the body. It requires physical contact, which makes it a bit unsuited for use in battle. With this I can be a bit reckless when rushing people lmao.So this one is the epitome of healing. Use yang based chakra to heal high risk wounds, grow limbs back etc.

Alright Sensei U_UShit that's a good question sensei. Lemme ask lmaoo
So as Drackos clarified, the PoTS tech wouldn't deactivate fuuinjutsu techniques that were already active prior to its use.So this one gives you access to yang chakra based serpents. These serpents act like chakra arms and can be used for alotta things. They are sentient and have sensing like snakes and are linked to you telepathically. Give me the run down on the pros and cons of this one.
(Yoton: Yamata no Orochi) Yang Release: 8 Branched Giant Snake
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 100/110 for Yin-Yang chakra
Damage: 100/120 w/ Elemental or Yin-Yang chakra
Description: This technique sees the creation of the mythical serpent, the Yamata no Orochi. The user begins by gathering their Yang chakra into their arms and creating three branching streams of white chakra from each of them as well as coating both arms in chakra. The user’s arms and streams of chakra will take the form of serpents with flaming amber eyes. Due to the nature of this technique utilizing one’s Yang chakra, these serpents are not simple manifestations of chakra, but actual sentient creatures. The serpents can sense entities like ordinary snakes and they share a telepathic link to the user, allowing them to communicate with each other. They act like chakra arms and can be used for a variety of purposes. In the base form of this technique, the 8 branches are simple ethereal constructs of sentient Yang chakra. In their second form, users can add nature release to the branches to increase their power. In their third and final form, the user can add Yin Release chakra and give the branches physical bodies. The addition of the Yin Release also gives the branches unique venom which drains the physical vitality of the victim. The bite from each snake lowers a victim’s physical speed, reaction, and ability to use high ranked physical techniques.
Note: Form 1 is capable by all users of Yang Release, Form 2 is capable of Yang Release masters and Yin-Yang users. Form 3, also known as Yin-Yang Release: Yamata no Orochi is only capable of Yin-Yang Users with an affinity to Yang Release.
Note: The vitality degenerating venom is capable by all branches of this technique, however there is only enough for 3 usages. The vitality degeneration venom becomes worse with every bite. If a victim is bitten once their base reaction/tracking is reduced by half, twice and their base speed and physical damage is reduced by half, and thrice they will lose the ability to use any form of tai or kenjutsu techniques and will be rendered completely paralyzed 2 turns after the third bite if not healed. The victim will be unable to do anything short of breathing, including using their chakra. Users bitten once also become incapable of using physical elevating techniques such as Sage Mode or EIG.
Note: Medical ninja or other Yang Release users can rid themselves of the poison through means of medical techniques or vitality boosting techniques such as power of the sun.
Note: Technique can only be used once per battle and requires 50 chakra points to maintain (60 above the first form). While this technique is in use, the user cannot use any non-elemental ninjutsu, Yin Release, or Yin-Yang techniques (other than this technique’s advanced variation).
Thanks for answering those questions for me. It cleared up the things I was confused about in regards to the technique. When it says all branches it means all the heads. Even though you create 8 heads there's only enough venom for 3 uses, thus can't be used by all 8 heads/branches.
Yeah. It would simply keep draining chakra per turn
Next is:
( Yoton: Byako ) - Yang Release: White Tiger
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 70 (-40 per turn)
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user gathers Yang energy into his arms and hands, creating pseudo sentient white tiger heads. Due to the Yang energy, the arms become incredibly hot, causing steam emanate from them. The tiger heads roar when the user attacks and releases the dense steam as a result. In spite of the menacing appearance of the tigers, the strikes do not cause bone crushing or outwardly physical harm. Each strike onto the target causes a massive release of yang chakra into the body, which causes an imbalance of Yang energy. The imbalance results in the target's inability to mold chakra sufficiently for techniques. A single strike from this technique is all that is required to imbalance one's chakra. Targets afflicted by this imbalance become incapable of using techniques unless they spend 3x the amount chakra ordinarily required. However, excessive amounts of chakra from this technique (one turn of contact or a total of 4 completed strikes) results in a more degrading consequence. The incoming chakra becomes so great that it literally begins to burn away the victim's Yin Release chakra in order to make room until the ratio of Yin is at its minimum level required for the victim to remain alive. This reduces the victim's chakra pool by 50% as well as cause their body such tremendous physical pain due to the excess physical energy in their body. Their muscles begin to tear resulting in their movement speed being reduced by 1/4th. Other Yang Release users and Yin-Yang users are capable of controlling the excess amounts of Yang release energy due to their training and thus, will not lose any speed and will only lose 25% of their chakra. Senjutsu surges of equivalent chakra or infusions of those ranks will negate the side effects of this Jutsu, allowing it to be ended prematurely. Should two or more strikes land, the amount of chakra needed to break it will increase likewise, requiring 20 more chakr.
Note: One strike prevents the use of techniques S-rank and above and requires 3x the normal cost for techniques A-rank and below. Yin-Yang Release users can use S-rank at 3x the cost due to their elevated control. The use of Yin Release and genjutsu above A-rank becomes impossible after 2 strikes. All matter of genjutsu becomes unusable after 4 strikes.
Note: The technique ends when the user calls for it or after they've made 4 successive strikes, whichever comes first. While the jutsu is active, the user cannot use Yin Release or non-elemental ninjutsu.
Note: Usable twice per battle and with a 4 turn cool down.
Ok so basically you just use hella yang chakra to make heated tiger heads around your arms as an aura. This aura has no physical capabilities but gives "effects" to your tai when used. With every hit the tigers would force yang chakra into the target and cause an imbalance in their chakra system and the effects would instantly be felt. Any questions on the usage or the effects of each hit?
Yeah ROH isn't the most complex technique it's pretty much a straight up enhancement that also functions as an AOE for multiple allies, with that said I haven't seen the official ruling on it being a mode or not. I'm conflicted on the answer personally, so I'll deign to whatever the check was, I can see an argument for it being one and not being one. You can finally make your dogs fly or whatever. On to the next technique, this is a big one. This technique works by channel large amounts of yang energy that you'll be able to infuse into others to temporarily enhance a specific one of their physical attributes. The enhanced attributes include physical damage reduction and either a speed increase, tracking increase, or damage increase. When granted through direct physical contact the enhancement is fairly high, by when done in a ranged fashion then the enhancements granted by the yang energy are reduced.
The enhancements come about by altering the target's body. You can give them wings to fly, alter the mass of the arms for increased punching power, etc.
I've been wanting this technique so I can empower my doggos. I remember this came into question during Zatana's Dark Tower fight, but I don't remember if it was decided that it counted as a mode or not. I think the final verdict was that it wasn't, but it's been a while and I've forgotten what was decided.
When i asked Chris about that he said it's not shaving, so basically if you're hit with 81 damage you take 81 damage, if you're hit with 80 or below you take zero. Bit scuffed but such is life, as for the space warping and orbs, yeah they were cool but I mean you had to wear a white jumpsuit so really the new version is better. The almighty Yang State. Glad to finally have gotten my hands on this, though I wish it still came with space warping and the orbs.
This technique works by manipulating the ratio of their Yin/Yang chakra to have the Yang portion overpower the Yin portion, which allows the user to enter Yang State. In this state, the user gains a black and white chakra shroud, their hair and sclera become white, and the hands glow white, and some other cosmetic changes occur. In terms of power, while in this state the user's speed is increased by x6 and they became able to reduce damage from physical clashes by 80.
Also, due to the imbalance between Yin and Yang natures, the user is unable to make use of yin release and other spiritual techniques. Once out of Yang State, the user is unable to use A-ranks for 4 turns, taijutsu for 5 turns, and Yin/Yang/Yin-Yang techniques for 10 turns.
I believe this was clarified a few months ago, but I forgot what exactly was stated in regards to the 80 damage reduction. If a technique does more than 80 damage, then would you take the full damage of the technique, or reduce 80 damage from it regardless of the damage value?
