Your OP is wrong. You need both Yin and Yang to activate the Rinnegan; Sauske received Hashirama cells/Kurama's chakra

Sasuke did use Preta Path, but most likely used Outer Path. It makes more sense that way considering how he used their chakra.

But his Rinnegan is unique, the Sharingan is a yin power. His Sharinnegan combo powers allows him to utilize both powers(EMS/Rinnegan) simultaneously. Also Rinnegan does equal yin/yang however the tailed beast also equal yin/yang.

You're wrong. For Rinnegan you need both Indra and Ashura chakra. For SM you need Natural, Physical and Mental enetgy in equal proportions.

The Rin'negan requires both Yin and Yang to activate. Sasuke's is just different because he had way more Yin than Yang thanks to Hagoromo (the amount he got from him is far greater than the Yang in Hashirama's cells). I personally find Yin to be more reflective of my own personality and generally Yin (Dark) characters seem to be more interesting, but Yang is objectively more powerful in battle if it's just purely Yin vs Yang.

Well his Rinnegan might be composed of more Yin, than Yang, but I was referring mostly to the activation and further uses. Seeing how it requires two things to be complete, I doubt the user loses one. I do agree on the statement that the Sharingan is mostly Yin as-well. Makes more sense too
