We learning Yang, the apex of raw chakra manipulation apart from Yin-Yang, and the better counterpart to Yin. It focuses on the body, increasing physical movements and attacks but also resilience. That stuff.

Lazy ass explanation, lol. Yang isn't just the enhancement of your body though, there's also healing, alterations, granting sentience, etc. That's just some of the things that are possible, but we'll go over them with the jutsu. Anyway, please ask me questions as we go over everything. Aite, let's begin, tell me what you think, etc,

( Yoton: Jigoku ni henkō ) - Yang Release: Change into Hell
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A (+50, -10 per turn)
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user is able to use their Yang nature too imbue life into an elemental technique, creating a Yang/Element sentient entity that remains on the field to aid them. The only limit is the size of the technique originally used as an elemental source, as the resulting entity will always be half the size. The entity can be interacted with, can act on its own, and is made of the element sourced with all its properties intact. Its strength is based on the original elemental technique used as a source. This doesn’t consume time since it is actually a skill applied to a technique used within the same timeframe. The infused chakra increases the technique by an additional ten chakra, of the fifty it costs in total. Note that the resulting entity created by this technique is bound by logical limitations of its shape and nature; a meteor cannot move on its own, a pillar cannot walk away, and a statue without arms cannot pick things up. Likewise, while it is able to use techniques from the source it is created from it cannot extend into different fields. For instance, if Susano’o is brought to life by this technique it cannot use Blaze Release unless the Susano’o itself is constructed, or partially formed, from Blaze itself (e.g. Sasuke’s Susano’o). It is bound by the literal source it is formed from, rather than the fields it is bound to.
Note: Usable 3 times per battle and up to 6 times per event to create one entity with up to 300 chakra points that is able to use jutsu from the source it was created from. Its chakra reserves can be replenished through external means, and because it has a chakra network can fall under the influence of Genjutsu or other Spiritual-based techniques.
Note: Yang Release Specialists and Yin-Yang users can apply this technique to advanced fields and CE and advanced elements.

That was my plan all along. Now all the basic gaps are filled in :vex:

( Yoton: Jigoku ni henkō ) - Yang Release: Change into Hell
A supplementary technique applied to elemental Ninjutsu that allows it a form of sentience. Important notes here are the size of the affected technique compared to the parent technique (I'd imagine an S-ranked technique as big as Water Dragon Bullet sizing down to like a small summon) and the creation's ability to perform techniques from the element it was made from. One question, does this technique allow me to change the element's shape as it's being formed? What I'm getting at is, if I applied this to a fireball can I shape that fireball into a fire golem that has sentience or am I limited to the form of the technique? Meaning it stays as a fireball, but with sentience.

There's gonna be some gaps between your teeth when I punch you in your mouth. :lok:

Anyway, regarding the Water Dragon Bullet, it'll just be half the size of the original, as the jutsu says. So if something is ten meters, it will become five.

First, these are clearly two questions, not one. But moving on, the answer is no to both. You cannot alter the shape of the jutsu. Its why the jutsu description says a meteor cannot suddenly walk if you use this, because all this does is grant sentience. So naturally, it would be the smart move to use this on jutsu that have features which allow such actions.

( Yoton: Taiyōnomegumi ) - Yang Release: Touch of the Sun
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra cost:70 per use
Damage points: N/A
Description: Through the infusion of Yang natured chakra into others, users can heal others to their original best physical form. It can be used to regrow missing body parts, heal wounds, purge poisons, etc. The target needs to be alive and the bigger the injury, the longer it takes to heal. The limits of the heal, however, are almost none as it can heal 150 damage per turn and can even heal the chakra system or other injuries that are otherwise not possible to be healed. The technique requires time and physical contact and as such isn't very suited to use in a battle when compared to regular Iryo Ninjutsu.
Note: Yang Release Specialists and Yin-Yang users are able to use on themselves.

Say that to my face when I've finished Yang!

And noted on the answers. Just being thorough.

( Yoton: Taiyōnomegumi ) - Yang Release: Touch of the Sun
Another supplementary technique though this one focuses more on spreading Yang energy to others (unless specialized). The healing is wild, up to 150 damage per turn along with purging poisons and regrowing limbs... this is so strong I wonder if anyone would ever need Medjutsu if they have it. Though I see the differences between the two where this needs more time to perform and costs a lot more chakra, so there's that. Only major caveat is that it can only be performed on living targets. I also see that it repairs even damaged chakra networks. So like the chakra debilitating effects of Gentle Fist can be countered with this, yes?

Crazy to have such energy after getting Yang when I already have it. Maybe you can use it to heal yourself. :lok:

How is it a caveat that they need to be living?! This isn't Edo Tensei, obviously they need to be alive to be healed, its not resurrection, lol. And yes, this is capable of healing pretty much anything, unless it specifically states that it can't be healed by Yang. Anyway, moving on.

( Yoton: Ken'i ) - Yang Release: Power of The Sun
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 100 (50 per turn)
Damage points: N/A (+40 to Taijutsu)
Description: The user will reinforce his own body with Yang natured chakra, empowering his physical abilities to the outermost limits. This allows him to become physically very strong (beyond the normal levels of chakra enhanced strength), increases his resistance to physical damage (decreasing 60 damage from any physical contact), his speed (boosted to 3.5x his normal speed), and grants him a passive healing of all minor wounds at 30 damage per turn. However, by infusing himself with the Yang Nature, he becomes unable to use Yin Release techniques or Yin/Yang Release techniques; he cannot use Genjutsu or non elemental Ninjutsu of any kind (including special fields like Fuuinjutsu).
Note: Can only be used twice per battle and lasts 4 turns per use.

Bro come on, I couldn't be the only one thinking of using this to heal my creations formed from Change into Hell. That's what I was referring to when I said living targets not dead bodies :ROFLMAO: And good to know about the healing range.

( Yoton: Ken'i ) - Yang Release: Power of The Sun
Now we're getting to the good stuff. By enforcing my own body with Yang chakra I'm able to push my physical limits. Grants enhanced speed, physical damage resistance, regeneration, and strength. Whoa. Drawbacks are equally drastic, though. No non-elemental Ninjutsu includes not only Fuin, but my beloved Sound release!! The horror.

Question: Does the +40 boost to Tai apply to Kenjutsu as well?

This is why I encourage people to ask questions, absolute wildness. :lok:

As for the boost applying to Kenjutsu, it depends on the technique used. This boost won't apply to a chakra-based projectile attack for example, but it would apply to Crescent Moon Beheading, which relies on your strength. Unless you have more questions, we'll move on.

( Yoton: Yamata no Orochi ) Yang Release: 8 Branched Giant Snake
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 100/110 for Yin-Yang chakra
Damage: 100/120 w/ Elemental or Yin-Yang chakra
Description: This technique sees the creation of the mythical serpent, the Yamata no Orochi. The user begins by gathering their Yang chakra into their arms and creating three branching streams of white chakra from each of them as well as coating both arms in chakra. The user’s arms and streams of chakra will take the form of serpents with flaming amber eyes. Due to the nature of this technique utilizing one’s Yang chakra, these serpents are not simple manifestations of chakra, but actual sentient creatures. The serpents can sense entities like ordinary snakes and they share a telepathic link to the user, allowing them to communicate with each other. They act like chakra arms and can be used for a variety of purposes. In the base form of this technique, the 8 branches are simple ethereal constructs of sentient Yang chakra. In their second form, users can add nature release to the branches to increase their power, including AE and CE the user knows. In their third and final form, the user can add Yin Release chakra and give the branches physical bodies. The addition of the Yin Release also gives the branches unique venom which drains the physical vitality of the victim. The bite from each snake lowers a victim’s physical speed, reaction, and ability to use high ranked physical techniques.
Note: Form 1 is usable by all users of Yang Release, Form 2 is usable by Yang Release Specialists and Yin-Yang users. Form 3, also known as Yin-Yang Release: Yamata no Orochi is only usable by Yin-Yang Users.
Note: The vitality degenerating venom is capable by all branches of this technique, however there is only enough for 3 usages. The vitality degeneration venom becomes worse with every bite. If a victim is bitten once their base reaction/tracking is reduced by half, twice and their base speed and physical damage is reduced by half, and thrice they will lose the ability to use any form of tai or kenjutsu techniques and will be rendered completely paralyzed 2 turns after the third bite if not healed. The victim will be unable to do anything short of breathing, including using their chakra. Users bitten once also become incapable of using physical elevating techniques such as Sage Mode or EIG.
Note: Medical ninja or other Yang Release users can rid themselves of the poison through means of medical techniques or vitality boosting techniques such as power of the sun.
Note: Technique can only be used once per battle and requires 50 chakra points to maintain (60 above the first form). While this technique is in use, the user cannot use any non-elemental ninjutsu, Yin Release, or Yin-Yang techniques (other than this technique’s advanced variation).

Noted on the Kenjutsu application. Makes sense.

( Yoton: Yamata no Orochi ) Yang Release: 8 Branched Giant Snake
Very interesting physical attack/application of Yang energy. We got three sentient snakes on each arm that can seemingly stretch up mid range. I'm assuming my freeform physical attacks with the arms would carry this technique's damage when in use? The supplementary side is also neat, where they can be used as chakra arms like for grasping things or even allowing for movement like swinging for somewhere. Drawbacks are very much the same as power of the sun, and Yang in general: no non-elemental Nin, Yin, or YY while the snakes are active.

Question 1: Does form 2 follow the same rule as Yin Phantom Dragons where if I make the snakes out of a CE/AE I am cannot perform techniques of the composing element(s) until the snakes are destroyed or canceled?

Question 2: What is the tracking value of these snakes, you reckon? Would it be equivalent to the user's?

You mean using the arms to attack after the initial usage? Then yeah, because you're still paying 50 chakra, so it would be wild if you couldn't use it to cause damage.

Nah, that's not stated to be the case so it won't follow that rule.

What is the tracking value of these snakes, you reckon? Would it be equivalent to the user's?
No lol, it won't be equivalent to the users. If you had a Dojutsu for example, why would the serpent have tracking equal to that?! There's no tracking value given to them currently and there probably will never be. These aren't meant to be used like that. Its more a case if your vision is hindered, the serpents would be able to relay the position of something/one to you. Don't try to reach too much with these because it probably won't end well.

Any other questions before we continue?

Believe me, the real reason I asked for a tracking value of the snakes is for situations just like that when I have to rely on them to give me information. If they're too slow in gathering/relaying important stuff, then so too will my own reaction--potentially. Anyway, that's for things that haven't or will ever occur so we move.

No more questions.

Aite, we'll move onto the next jutsu.

( Yoton: Byako ) - Yang Release: White Tiger
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 70 (-40 per turn)
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user gathers Yang energy into his arms and hands, creating pseudo sentient white tiger heads. Due to the Yang energy, the arms become incredibly hot, causing steam emanate from them. The tiger heads roar when the user attacks and releases the dense steam as a result. In spite of the menacing appearance of the tigers, the strikes do not cause bone crushing or outwardly physical harm. Each strike onto the target causes a massive release of yang chakra into the body, which causes an imbalance of Yang energy. The imbalance results in the target's inability to mold chakra sufficiently for techniques. A single strike from this technique is all that is required to imbalance one's chakra. Targets afflicted by this imbalance become incapable of using techniques unless they spend 3x the amount chakra ordinarily required. However, excessive amounts of chakra from this technique (one turn of contact or a total of 4 completed strikes) results in a more degrading consequence. The incoming chakra becomes so great that it literally begins to burn away the victim's Yin Release chakra in order to make room until the ratio of Yin is at its minimum level required for the victim to remain alive. This reduces the victim's chakra pool by 50% as well as cause their body such tremendous physical pain due to the excess physical energy in their body. Their muscles begin to tear resulting in their movement speed being reduced by 1/4th. Other Yang Release users and Yin-Yang users are capable of controlling the excess amounts of Yang release energy due to their training and thus, will not lose any speed and will only lose 25% of their chakra. Senjutsu surges of equivalent chakra or infusions of those ranks will negate the side effects of this Jutsu, allowing it to be ended prematurely. Should two or more strikes land, the amount of chakra needed to break it will increase likewise, requiring 20 more chakr.
Note: One strike prevents the use of techniques S-rank and above and requires 3x the normal cost for techniques A-rank and below. Yin-Yang Release users can use S-rank at 3x the cost due to their elevated control. The use of Yin Release and genjutsu above A-rank becomes impossible after 2 strikes. All matter of genjutsu becomes unusable after 4 strikes.
Note: The technique ends when the user calls for it or after they've made 4 successive strikes, whichever comes first. While the jutsu is active, the user cannot use Yin Release or non-elemental ninjutsu.
Note: Usable twice per battle and with a 4 turn cool down.

( Yoton: Byako ) - Yang Release: White Tiger
A physical Yang attack that doesn't actually do physical damage. Let's see here... Starting with the pseudo sentient lion heads. Are these made from the user's arms, as in the Yang chakra changes them anatomically into these lion heads, or is the pure chakra itself made into them and given sentience? So, the effects of each physical strike carries debilitating effects for the opponent based on the large amount of Yang energy given with each hit, which disrupts their balance of Yin to Yang chakra. First hit makes molding chakra at the S-rank and above level impossible (for most) and 3x chakra cost for A-ranked and below, but as the opponent is given more and more Yang energy through consecutive strikes of this technique Yin chakra is burned away to make room, which reduces their overall chakra reserves by 50% and slows them by .25% of their original speed while also making Genjutsu and other Yin-related abilities increasingly more difficult to perform. Defenses against this are Senjutsu surges of equivalent chakra, depending on how many strikes had landed prior.

Question 2: Are Senjutsu surges the only way out of these effects? Would Yang's Power of the Sun, for example, reverse its effects?

You're not changing your arms, no. I'd say this is similar to the Hyuga technique Twin Lion Fists, where you create the Lion Heads around your arms, but obviously your arms are also infused with the Yang energy.

Question 2: Are Senjutsu surges the only way out of these effects? Would Yang's Power of the Sun, for example, reverse its effects?
No, Senjutsu isn't the only way. It mentions infusions as well, so you could go that route. As for PoTS, it should work because ultimately it has more chakra and you're using it to flood your body with Yang energy, and purge any chakra that isn't yours. But I'll ask about this just to be sure. We'll move onto RoH for now.

( Yoton: Jigoku no Enjin ) - Yang Release: Ring of Hell
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: 80 for touch based version/100 for ranged version
Damage: N/A
Description: By channeling copious amounts of Yang energy, the user is able to infuse others with this, temporarily enhancing their physical attributes. This is achieved in two ways, either by direct touch or proximity. The first is more limited to a single person but has greater benefits; those channeled directly into will be able to reduce 35 damage from physical contact and gain physical alterations to their body that the Yang energy 'breathes' into life, such as twice the height or width of their body, additional arms or legs, etc as long as within reason and used solely for physical purposes. Should the user use the alternative release, then he is able to release Yang energy from his body up to Long range away, affecting all allies in the range. This variant allows the user to augment all allies with the same type of changes, ranging from all gaining wings to more. These changes only last a limited time, however; after 3 turns pass, the grown appendages or changes fall and revert back to normal. Depending on the alteration, one of a few benefits might be obtained.
Note: If additional arms, stronger arms or alterations related to the arm are made, then the target will gain an additional +20 to Taijutsu. If the changes target the head, the user is able to grant a 2x tracking. If leg based alterations are made, then the target will gain either +4 levels to his base speed or +20 damage to leg based tai. If changes target the torso, then an universal durability boost of B rank Ninjutsu immunity is obtained and if wings or similar is created, then the user is able to fly at thrice their speed.
Note: The damage and speed boosts are considered Passive and Base Speed increases. The values listed in the techniques are if the touch based variant is used. If the ranged variant is used, then these benefits are reduced by gained on a lesser scale ( +15 to Tai instead of +20, +2 Speed Levels, 1.5x Tracking, or -15 from all physical clashes).
Note: Touch based variant can only affect up to two people per event. Ranged variant creates a wave of Yang energy that affects up to 3 allies and lasts up to 4 turns.
Note: Can only be used three times in total.

You're not changing your arms, no. I'd say this is similar to the Hyuga technique Twin Lion Fists, where you create the Lion Heads around your arms, but obviously your arms are also infused with the Yang energy.

Noted.

A Yang jutsu that allows you to 'bless' your allies' physically with the best Yang has to offer: increased durability, speed, tracking, extra limbs, etc based on which body part gets modified. Touch version lasts indefinitely, if I'm reading this right, a true boon for the rest of an arc, potentially. Pretty neat that the effects are also considered passive. The ranged version is notably weaker though, lasting only 3 turns, but able to affect more people each time. I can imagine this is really good in group fights like Rifts.

Well written technique. No questions.
