Yamato vs Sasuke(no EMS/CM)

Ok, before anyone says Sasuke owned Yamato, he didn't want to use lethal force and his main priority was protecting the other team 7 members.
Conditions:
Sasuke(Sharingan, lightning and fire style) vs Yamato(with earth, water, and wood style)
-location:where Sasuke fought Deidara
-full knowledge of each other's abilities

Tbh we havent really seen yamato in action to decide. From what we did see against sasuke and kabuto, either doesnt do him justice or against superior opponents he isnt much.

Even without the cm/2, e/ms, basic sharigan sasuke still has the advantage imo.
His speed, taijutsu and intelligence is superior to that of yamato's, therefore i'll give it to sasuke

I would say sasuke because he has nature advantage, quick, and more intelligence then yamamato. Although on a team they would be a deadly combo

Sasuke still wins this, his powerful katon and raiton techs is enough for yamato. I don't see how yamato can survive kirin. Sasuke is also good with genjutsu to trick people like deidera.

Sasuke easily.
Sasuke could have killed Yamato in the beginning of Shipuuden.
Sasuke is too lethal an opponent for Yamato.
