I think Yamato either had this planned and will be searched for and rescued (he was anbu) . Or simply got taken and is in bad shape. Although if you think about how much chakra he had used to create the forest to catch the animals. Then he used some more during the fight. I am wondering if he is just low on chakra. But hopefully its a wood clone I kinda like him.

Taking into account what has happened thus far, without the use of predictions/speculation/theories etc. Yamato is an idiot for getting himself caught so easily without restraint or any attempt at escape.

A guy with his level of intelligence should be able to take into account different possible outcomes of the situation at hand. He didn't so he got caught, and now he has a load of sweat on his forehead in Madara's lair.

i dont think madar would be able to tell the diff he has sharingan witch sees chackra and rinnigan with im not sure if it sees chackra or not but pain couldent tell a diff in a lightning clone with rinnegan so y would madra be able to the chackra would look exactly the same as real yamato so sharingan wouldent be able to tell either imo

It could be bad for madara to some1 from konoha in his lair, it maybe be planned to know where madara is hiding. This maybe a sacrifice for the war, but yamato is pretty shifty when he wants to. Come to think kabuto isn't really an ally with madara for the long run.

Kabuto needs Yamato because hes not JUST DNA hes a person that actually THE ONLY person that was able to accept Hashiramas DNA he is a unique Ninja that is a perfect Guinea Pig for Kabuto.

Don't want to spoil everybodies theories here, but he is an fictional charachter. His actions are planned by a writer. So you can assume that since he didn't kill himself or escaped or exploded with wood or whatever that it will affect the storyline. Yamato was a pretty "smart" fighter in the past so maybe they're will be a some surprise.

Naruto is a manga, not a Bible, Koran, or Torah. Manga is not absolute and unchanging and it is limited by the knowledge of the writer.

He could have done Suicide , Since He is a Ninja and they are supposed to destroy evidence / Information before it gets into enemies hand ?

U_U If you arent familiar with snakes, You would know that most have a paralyzing agent, which makes it easy for them to gulp their enemies whole instead of having to continuously bite them and chew them up. Just a touch of secreted venom can kill you if inserted into the correct area.

Also I might add that the likely hood of it being a clone is greater due to the fact that yamato DIDNT resist against Kabutomaru even if he could. Captured by the enemy and learning their secrets all the while deceiving them.

That is what a ninja does.

I was also disappointed at how quick and easy Yamato was captured, and if it's not a clone then in his defense I can only say: they thought Kabuto was captured and they all lowered their guard (stupid considering the Kisame incident...), Yamato got Motoi away so he didn't defend himself, and while inside Kabuto I guess he couldn't do a thing especially since Kabuto was quick to dissapear...

What's not clear to me is that why the hell Kabuto needs Yamato when he has the 1st Hokage and his DNA right there????? I mean Yamato got his powers from 1st hokage's cells and DNA right?? So what's the difference b/w 1st hokage and Yamato? Unless Madara has saturated 1st hokages DNA to make all zetsu's he could or whatever... I don't see what's the point of using Yamato.

I think Madara wouldn't let him expriment with the 1st Hokage's DNA, maybe because he doesn't trust Kabuto entirely or because he needs that DNA and doesn't want it to be tampered with

yamato could easily split the ground and bury that snake even himself within.

I dont think he will try to stop madara himself, he is not so situpid and he know madaras power more than anybody as he faced him a couple of times.

Yamato got captured because he was trying to keep others safe. I'm sure he could have expanded and impaled the snake, but he probably asked himself, "how do I turn this frown upsidedown?" He'll probably use this to his advantage and start som surveilance of his own. He can grown a wood clone from any exposed part of his body and we saw in the last chapter He can grow wood without the use of seals (since he grew that block from his side to push that guy). I think Yamato can escape whenever he wants however he will have to wait for the right time.
