As you can see, Yamamoto is quite old already. Even then, he is known to be the strongest captain, his shikai alone gave Aizen lots of trouble. Aizen said it himself, if he didn't had WW, he would have lost to Yamamoto. I would love to see how strong his bankai can be. Also, if Yamamoto is this strong when he's like so old, how strong do you think he was when he was young? Also, how strong is Zero Division really? Are they that strong to the point where even Yamamoto in his bankai can't beat them? What do you guys think?

it's just no one ever dies in bleach so we are waiting for his shocking rebirth
and every singal one of those questions has no good answer to it
since frankly we don't know anything to confirm anything
and why does every feel kubo HAS to show EVERY bankai
plenty of ninja in naruto die without showing their full potential
same with one piece
WB died and all oda really showed was his quake punches and his haki usage
i highly doubt we will be seeing EVERY bankai
There's still lots of arcs coming up... The captains and the vizards can't die in this arc cuz Kubo won't know how so few good people could defeat the upcoming villains. And what does your it refers to? (The part when you say no it said he died)

dude yamamoto died he used a technique called the sacrafical something...(sacrafical=dieing) but mabye orihime can do something about it :/ and the only reason yamamoto hasnt been premoted the 0 squad is because he's needed where he is as CC.

i hope hes not dead honestly i think hes to strong to die by a technique he inflicts on himself. He would have to know the draw back and danger of using it. Hes way to old and wise to kick the bucket in what feels like the half way point of the manga.
This zero division really intrigues me
Are they just ridiculously stronger than the rest of the gotei 13 captains?
Do they have special zanpakuto abilities that are suited for guarding a high valued asset like the king?
Have they mastered Kido to a point beyond what we have seen? "i mean we really haven't seen the power of kido used to its full extent Uraharu used it best in the last few chapters but i see more potential."
Did they reached a level above bankai?
Could they possibly be Vaizards either by accident or a secret program in soul society?

I don't think the Zero Squad has members stronger than Yama-jii. The only one who would possibly be stronger is the captain of the Zero Squad, if that position exists. The reason why Yama-jii isn't a member of the squad is because the Captain Commander position is just as important, if not more.
The royal guards are still make up of former captains from the 13 squads, they are stronger than the rest of the squads, but definitely not stronger than Yamamoto.
Yes your right, if there was someone who could take the CC spot, he would have been promoted to be a royal guard, but IMO, he's way beyond royal guard level.
