Yachiru's appearance is that of a very small, young girl with pink hair, dark pink eyes and a perpetual blush on her cheeks. She wears the normal Ame Shinobi uniform and her plate of her headband on her arm. She carries her sword (Sanpo Kenjū) - Three-Step Sword in her left hand.

Personality:
Yachiru is child-like in most aspects - she is small, cheerful, energetic and carefree most of the time. She was often seen latched onto the back of her guardian, Yasutora Sado, just over his right shoulder and is somewhat territorial about this position. She can be intimidating at times, especially when annoyed. Yachiru resents being criticized in any way and will often attack the perpetrator. Further reflecting her child-like nature, Yachiru likes to give people nicknames and she has no sense of direction. Yachiru's favorite free-time activity is eating sweets, though she will eat pretty much anything. Yachiru specializes in infiltration, which she uses mostly for mischievous deeds. She´s usually latched onto Sado´s right shoulder. When Sado is not around, she enjoys playing around in the Village.

History:
"I had no name. I had no parents."
Little is known about Yachiru´s origins. From the moment Yachiru remembers things, she was already being called by the name "Yachiru". She lived in Sunagakure and she was told she´s from Sunagakure as well. Yachiru, being curious of what the older kids do in the village, was told that they are training to be shinobis. Since then, Yachiru also wanted to be a shinobi, and she started going to the Ninja Academy. Yachiru graduated from the Academy earlier than the other kids at her age. Many days have passed and Yachiru's knowledge about the basic 5 increased. During Yachiru´s free time, Yachiru found a candy store that she loves to visit: the Urahara store. Yachiru started eating all the candies, the sweetshop owner, Urahara Kisuke (-Tsuki) was begging her to stop eating everything. Afterall, Yachiru was his only customer.
Yachiru has always been good at hiding, and is very skilled at listening to people's conversations without them even noticing. But she often ends up revealing herself while scaring them at the same time, she often did that after that Urahara settled down in Suna and opened his sweetshop there. She would sneak inside and take everything she wanted without him noticing, leaving him to question himself about what happened to the candies.

One day, Yachiru got bored of staying in Sunagakure and decided to play around outside the village. She decided to go on a trip to a destination that was unknown for her at that time. After a day of non-stop running around, Yachiru arrived near a rainy village with a lot of houses outside. She decided play around to be the main man. She sat down, took a piece of paper out from her pocket and she wrote a letter, signing it with her favourite crayon she brought with her and stuffed it into the first mailbox she saw. Then she went to sit down on the nearest tree to eat her candies wondering whose mailbox it belonged to. After a while, Sado (Howard) showed up. Yachiru was bored, so she decided to play games with him, but Sado negated her jutsus, making her angry since he wasn´t playing, but in the end Sado joined the game. During the game, Sado was constantly trying to make Yachiru change her mind to have her move to Amegakure. At first Yachiru didn´t want to, but then she remembered how boring Sunagakure was turning into and in the endl she decided to stay in Amegakure. From the moment Yachiru decided to move to Amegakure, Sado has been her guardian. Since then, Yachiru is usually been seen on Sado´s right shoulder. If not, she´ll be playing around in the village.
"You should watch out! Muscles'll get mad if you start attacking me!"
A few weeks after Yachiru joined the village, she saw a stranger at the Amegakure gates talking with the Amekage (Shinta). Without even wanting to know what´s going on nor who the stranger was, Yachiru jumped onto the stranger´s shoulder to ask candies from him. But then she was picked up by Sado, who was heading to Kumogakure with the kage and Blake (Blake Belladonna) for a treaty. Worried that Yachiru would get into troubles, Sado decided to take Yachiru with them to Kumogakure. They left the stranger at the Amegakure gates as they headed to Kumogakure. Once in Kumogakure, she met Gon (xHoundinii), Obito (Darui..) and the Raikage himself (Better). While they were talking, Yachiru got bored and decided to offer some candies to Obito, but he electrocuted her as soon as she got in contact with him. That caused Sado to be angered, the treaty cancelled and Sado taking Yachiru back to Ame while being angry towards Obito.
Once back in Amegakure, Yachiru continued her daily routine of messing around in the village, specially when there are visitors near the village.

"The Will of Rain"
One day, Yachiru noticed a lot of Amegakurian (Bruce, Vegeta, Penguin and more) being gathered at the borderlands, welcoming new Amegakurians while also greeting some visitors. As the new comrades and visitors were going through the Amegakure no Sato´s traditions (Fuu honey and lemonade xD), Yachiru asked Bruce what was the so called "Will of Rain". The reply she got was the following:
