I talked to 1999 Hisoka's English VA and he said there are no plans that they're dubbing HxH (2011), but he will recommend it to Funimation whenever he gets the chance to do it.

Really? How did you get in contact with Hisoka's VA even? I don't think he has much say in this either. I vaguely remember that people were speculating it will be announced for September or something. I believe it was in the HxH reddit section.

Yeah, via Facebook. We don't know yet, but we know that Viz and some other company were fighting over the rights to dub HxH and we don't know who won that. Only time will tell.
